Geniales anfitriones! Han sido muy amables desde el primer momento, haciéndonos sentir muy cómodos durante nuestra estancia. La casa estaba impecable. Muy bien ubicada, para ir andando a la playa y bares y restaurantes. Todo tal cual se ve en las fotos. Para ser perfecto, le faltaría actualizar el mobiliario y arreglar ciertos detalles como la mampara de la ducha y los muelles de las camas singles que hacen mucho ruido.
Lovely apartment in a quiet area very close to the bars etc. In Puerto Del carmen . Very clean and spacious. The host was very pleasant at check in and showed us everything we needed to know. The only issues we had were that the apartment had no kettle but not too much of a problem we just boiled water in a pan. We had an issue contacting the host before we travelled which meant we actually flew out not knowing for sure that we had a place to stay. This was pretty stressful but airbnb managed to contact him during this time so everything worked out in the end
Avoid this place! The host was unresponsive, dismissive of our issues, and ultimately lied to Airbnb's resolution team. This was the only time I've had a problem with an Airbnb listing after staying in numerous accomodations around the world, including several other wonderful places in the Canary Islands. My father and I stayed here 3 nights and had an appalling experience. It was my father's first time using Airbnb and I was excited to show him how it works. The smaller issue was that the advertised wi-fi network was not even available inside the apartment. When I mentioned this to the host, he came over and showed me that it worked outside! I then showed him how the network wasn't visible inside, and he just said "sorry" and walked out! There was no further communication or visible attempt to resolve this. He later told Airbnb that he tried to fix it and that it was an issue with the ISP. Whether or not this is true, he failed to communicate this to us at the time. The more glaring issue - and the reason I opened a dispute - was the unbelievably loud and disturbing construction in the host's other unit next door. There was a crew gutting the place, complete with jack-hammering, pounding against our shared wall, and other noises so loud that our own unit was literally shaking and we couldn't even hear each other yelling. (I wish you could see the videos we took). I asked the host if this would be happening each morning, and he promised that it would start later the following day. We decided to give him the benefit of the doubt as we had mid-day plans anyway. This was a mistake as it meant that we missed Airbnb's 24-hour refund period. Instead, the project began even earlier the following two mornings. When I complained again, the host never replied for the remainder of our stay. Not even a simple apology. It wasn't until I opened a dispute after checking out that he coldly texted me that they are legally allowed to start that early. What a way to treat your guests! The point is that he shouldn't have booked us there in the first place while the project was happening. At the very least, he should have warned us and given us a chance to cancel. It gets better... he then lied to Airbnb that he wasn't aware that the construction would be happening and that it was outside of his control, even though he was clearly involved with the project himself! In fact, I first met him at the entrance to that unit, where he asked me if I wanted to buy an apartment before realizing I was his Airbnb guest! Book at your own risk...
