Carrick View is a 1 bedroom apartment on the ground floor of a 2 storey barn conversion with spectacular views out to sea. It is in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within the Cornwall Mining Heritage area and surrounded by National Trust land.
The apartment is in a spectacular location overlooking the golf course down to the cove. The dining/lounge/kitchen is open plan and the kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and electric cooking facilities. Heating is electric and inclusive. Bed linen is provided. An extra charge will be incurred if towels are required.
There is allocated parking opposite the front door, and a laundry room for guests' use which also provides secure storage area for surf boards or bicycles.
A welcome tray is provided and keys are placed in a secure keybox for collection on arrival and return to the box on the day of departure. Inside the apartment there is a folder offering Information and advice, and also contains the contact number of the housekeeper who lives locally. Bed linen is provided and towels can be provided at an extra charge.
There is a sheltered garden area with garden furniture provided, and the benches on the sea-ward side of the barn are a sun trap in the afternoons.
Part of the Poldark Series has been filmed in this area. Levant Mine is the location of Tressiders Rolling Mill, and Wheal Owles and The Crowns at Botallack provide the location for Wheal Leisure. The Brisons appear in the opening shots of the series.
The apartment is a non-smoking area and is not suitable for children or pets. We do not offer one night accommodation. In July and August it is only available for 7 night bookings.
