**every 7th day stay is free**
Guests have full use of our amenities, such as pool, laundry and limited wi-fi. The property is wheel chair friendly, with no stairs. Parking is not an issue. All areas of the farm are accessible, the only restrictions being the garage, the equipment shed and the owners' residence. Make sure you close the gate behind you if you venture into the paddocks for a walk or an encounter with our 6 "wild" horses. (They're not really wild - they just free range.)
We live on the property as well, and we therefore can provide breakfast and dinner at an extra cost. By arrangement, help can be provided with managing guests with special needs as Amanda has worked in aged care and has earned her CERT III. Our friendly dogs will be happy to play fetch with you. We are happy to discuss any aspect of our farm operation or our local area with you.
Weather and fire bans permitting, we also offer a bonfire under the stars, for the socially oriented musicians, singers and storytellers.
At all times, we respect your wishes for privacy if preferred.
1.5 bathrooms in the farm stay and a 5 toilet + 6 showers (segregated) in an amenities block just outside the house. Camping can be arranged for groups of 10 or more.
If your booking includes children, pricing for children 2-13 incl. is $20 per night, not $35 per night. Please advise of any children so that we can adjust the quoted tariff as a special offer.
Smoking is outside only. Dogs are welcome providing they are well-behaved and do not chase the wildlife. A speed limit of 10 kph is imposed across the property. Please do not drive/park behind the farm stay. We do expect our guests to respect the farm, its contents and its various inhabitants.
We are Trevor and Amanda Roberts. We had moved from beautiful home in Sydney's Northern Beaches to Bungwalbin, which is Northern New South Wales, in 2006 when we bought our equally beautiful, fully organic certified farm. This was a true tree change, giving us an entirely new experience from our former lives tied up with the corporate sector. Since then, we've had people come from all over to stay with us or work on the farm. It really has been a great experience!
As well as a half a dozen free ranging horses and a small flock of free ranging chickens (chooks), we also have two friendly border collies on the property. Their names are Wags and Sophie, and they form an important part of the farm's social scene.
Amanda loves cooking and runs a catering business, so you're sure to eat great food during your stay if you opt for meal packages. She is equally passionate about the aged sector, and has worked in many different capacities in that field. Consequently, we love hosting coaches full of retirees seeking an enjoyable day out, and we give special attention to aged farm stay clients. Our facilities at the farm are disabled friendly.
Trevor is passionate about astronomy and you can view the stars of the Southern skies on a clear night through one of his powerful telescopes. He entertains the coach tour clients with a light-hearted but informative talk and tour, during which he will be more than happy to demonstrate the tea tree oil extraction process.
Music and travel form an important part of our lives, which is why we treat seriously peoples' travel arrangements and our objective is to make sure that our guests enjoy their visits to our farm.
