Go local! Enjoy the relaxed life in a small Portuguese village, within walking distance of shopping and cafes. A unique experience at a great value a few minutes drive from beaches and golf!
My house is 45 minutes North of Lisbon airport and 10 minutes from surf central in Peniche and Baleal. Situated within the historic town of Serra d'El Rei. Spend your days at magnificent white sand beaches, golfing at five star Praia D'el Rey Marriott Resort, fishing in Pinche or enjoy wandering the walled city of Obidos. In the morning visit the farmers market of Caldas da Rainha, the cloisters of Tomar and other historic sites easily from my home just off the IP6 and A8. It is also great base for looking for property to buy on the Silver Coast.
Perfect for couples or small families seeking unique and local experiences. The 140 sm house was originally built in the mid 14th century as a cluster of small buildings to support King Joao I hunting palace. It was fully renovated in early 2005, built completely of stone it is cool in the summer sitting atop a hill welcoming breezes from the ocean. The house is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood, with narrow winding streets, small passages, interesting shops, multiple restaurants, cafes and bars, small grocery stores and bank with ATM. A truly a Portuguese village experience.
