Affordable Bedroom in hippy house. Fold out couch with memory foam (different in pic).
Shared bathroom with shower and bathtub. Shared yard & garden, shared kitchen.
Our house is funky & lived in: not a hotel.
Our towels don't match, our sheets might not match, and you will hear our happy voices.
We play music, we make food, and we are warm and friendly. Your room is quiet and private and the bed is comfy but not fancy.
10 min walk to beaches & downtown.
This room is cozy and quiet, as our house is on an alley. Two people can sleep in the bed. I love this quiet bedroom - not fancy, but cozy.
One thing to note is that it is very very HOT here in the summer and we don't have AC. We have fans and we are close to the beach.
Our house is fun, filled with art and music.
If you have kids, we can set up a little sleeping pad for the floor, but it will be fairly crowded with that set-up.
We will share the bathroom and tub and shower with you, and will keep it clean for you. Your privacy will be respected.
Big bathroom will be available to you, with shower and bathtub. You can use the kitchen and enjoy sitting outside in our yard.
Please enjoy our living room, kitchen area and outside space. We have outdoor seating for meals and a garage you can keep your bikes or parachutes in.
We have wifi you can use, as well as hula hoops, kettlebells, lego, books, a guitar, a mandolin, keyboard, a banjo, and a blender.
We will be around, and we are friendly. There are between one and three adults around and one awesome child. If you prefer to chill in your room, we won't bother you. If you would like to stay up playing board games, hula hooping, playing music, reading modernist poetry, and weeding vegetables with us, that is cool too. We can also direct you to the best local beaches, wineries, and parks.
We will probably be home, but not always, are we are busy folks.
Lots of fun to be had at our place if you so desire, or you can have a restful stay. I practice music - banjo, mandolin, guitar - every day, so please be sure you are comfortable hearing the same scales played over and over!
You can park in the alley or the street, and it is free, but there is always the chance you might need to park a few houses away if another car is in the spot. It is safe parking in a safe neighbourhood.
Access is via alley: this is important, so please email me about it if you have any questions.
Absolutely no smoking at all : not in the yard, not in the rooms.
No pets at all.
Clean up your dishes after you eat.
No rude or mean language as we have a child in the house.
Access is via the alley.
