Welcome! This is our home & we love sharing it with others. We are very proud of it & as such, we do not accept guests who do not provide a completed profile with photo & some info that will ensure us that our home will be safe in your hands. Thanks
Four bedrooms, each has a queen size bed or futon, lounge chair, cable tv, wireless internet (code is on the instruction sheet on the coffee table in family room along with tips on using the TV remote controls). Three bathrooms.
You have full access to the patio/pool and grill, laundry facilities, and kitchen. We have towels and yoga mats out by the pool. Also, mosquito repellant and suntan lotion in the towel bucket. Mosquitos shouldn't be a problem as the pool area is enclosed by a screen but if you are "attractive" to mosquitos they will find you. The pool has a solar heater but this means that in winter the pool will be cool, not cold. Leaving the solar blanket on the pool will add heat during the day and putting it back on the pool at night will prevent nighttime heat loss.
VERY IMPORTANT: The cats like to spend their days outside so we always leave at least the sliding glass door either fully open or about 6" open at night. They can go in and out via the cat door in the patio door. They often come to the back door at the kitchen so please let them in or out as they wish. They prefer to "do their business" outside which makes the litterbox less important and Mommy very pleased so having easy access is important to all of us.
You have probably been asked to feed the cats, as well. If so, both dry and wet catfood are in the laundry room. Fill the metal bowl with dry food and once a day divide a small can of Fancy Feast (on the shelf by the laundry detergent) among the 3 bowls. They prefer to drink out of the pool so no point in providing them with water near their dishes.
Grocery store, shopping, some restaurants, etc. are nearbly - you can drive, bicycle or walk. "Big" shopping and nicer restaurants are within driving distance.
We have three cats, and lots of interesting art. You would be expected to feed the cats daily but they prefer to stay outside during the day so litter boxes aren't a problem.
We are located conveniently midway to everything: 10 minutes from downtown, 15 minutes to International Drive and a shopping haven, Convention Center, Universal Studios, Sea World, 35 min. to Disney, 45 min. to Port Canaveral, 5 min. to airport, etc.
Smoking is permitted outside.
We want you to enjoy your visit and we want to enjoy it, too, so wild partying is not part of the package. Our home is our haven and we hope yours, too.
Our house is located on a corner so we have two means of accessing the curved driveway. You may park anywhere in the driveway and enter through the front door via the sidewalk. Don't worry about blocking anyone.
Monday is trash and recycling pick up (the containers are located in the kitchen island. Please move the trash bins to the curb for pick up early morning.
Our only house rules are:
1.) be nice to the cats - but that doesn't mean that you have to let them into your room if you don't want them. They usually stay outside during the day anyway and are not overly friendly anyway :(.
2.) Before buying any food or condiments please check with us - we have most condiments and spices, so, unless you are vegan or need gluten free products you don't need to purchase them again.
3.) We assume that you will be as careful with our home as you are with your own. We allow smoking outside. :-)
Please let us know what time you will check-in as soon as possible after you make your reservation or within 24 hrs of arrival. If your travel is delayed then please let us know when you expect to arrive. If we are not able to be here when you arrive you will be sent codes and other info you will need so be sure to check your email or airbnb messages.
Please let me know what time you will be able to check out to help prepare for the next guests arriving.
Please make sure to turn off lights and appliances when you are finished using them! Also please make sure to LOCK THE DOOR when leaving the house.
INTERNATIONAL GUEST/SMS: If you are traveling from outside of the country please make sure to send your mobile phone number and also let me know if you are able to send/receive SMS while in the USA.

We are a recently married couple in our mid 60's, feel like 30's - we kayak, ride bikes, swim, garden. We enjoy meeting new people and having new experiences. David is a retired banker, very liberal, an ex-opera singer (baritone) and speaks Spanish, German, Italian and French, a little Russian. I am a retired commercial interior designer, Texan, artistic and creative and can't sing a note, I speak a little Spanish but don't understand it. We enjoy tipping a bottle of wine or making a batch of margaritas especially with our guests. Don't smoke or do drugs.
