Amazing apartment, recently renovated, located in Urca; the most privileged and safest neighborhood in Rio. Balcony and main rooms are overlooking the Guanabara bay. Walking distance to Sugar Loaf, Praia Vermelha, and the wonderful Pista Cláudio Coutinho. Parking is available and very close bus stop provides for easy connection to the bus and metro network; bars/morning coffee/restaurants and shops. It is ideal as relaxing place after a busy day!
Urca is a traditional and wealthy residential neighborhood with nearly 7,000 inhabitants (2000 census) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Although most of the neighborhood dates from the 1920s, parts of it are much older. What is now called the Forte São João, a military base at the foot of the Sugarloaf Mountain, is where the first Portuguese settlement in Rio was founded by Estácio de Sá on March 1, 1565.
Bus terminal is very conveniently located just 100 meters away from the building: 513 takes you to the Metro in Botafogo; 512, takes you to Copacabana and Ipanema; 511 takes you to Jardim Botanico and Leblom; and 107 takes you to Botafogo; Gloria; Flamengo and the City Centre
