Shady Oak Manor is a quiet getaway. We go the extra mile to provide the cleanest possible environment. For those with allergies or environmental sensitivity, we use scent-free fume-free products for cleaning and maintenance. The floors are laminate and no pets or smokers have been in the house or on the furniture.
Downstairs: Open concept living space. The kitchen is open to the living and dining areas. There is a door off this room to the back porch and yard.

Upstairs: 2 bedrooms (one queen, one full/double) and 1 bath with shower

This is a *non-smoking* property inside and out, and no pets are allowed in the house! A $500 deduction from your security deposit will be made if you do not comply with these requirements.
HDTV: HD channels are700+. Music channels start at 900.
Please do not touch the t.v. screen (clean the screen with microfiber only). Please do not "pause" anything you're watching. This can permanently damage the HD screen.
Sorry, but use of washer and dryer are not permitted. If you need to do laundry, please ask me.
Please use the exhaust fan above the stove when you cook and wipe the stove top after cooking. Please turn the coffee maker OFF.
Water and energy conservation:
Please put recyclable materials in the bin provided. Please put paper recycling in a paper grocery bag.
Do not run the dishwasher unless you need to for your stay.
Turn off lights, appliances, heat and A/C when not in use. If these are not turned off when you check out, an appropriate deduction will be made from your security deposit.
Do not leave water faucets running.
Low-flow toilets (required by Civil Code):
Please do not flush tampons or other objects nor put large amounts of toilet paper in the toilets. You may need to flush more than once.
Groups with all members under the age of 35 are not accepted.
ALL Guests must be registered. You will be charged for additional Guests
*A small gathering with additional guests must be prearranged and approved. An additional fee may be required.
*Per County code, amplified sound is not allowed. Quiet time is 10pm until 9am
Checking out: please leave the key on the table and lock both doorknobs. If you have leftover food, please leave it in the fridge. Please don't run the dishwasher when you check out.

I'm a 3rd generation born in San Francisco, lived in Marin from age 11. Spent 7 years in L.A. then back to Marin. I moved to Sonoma in 2013.
I love animals, gardening, dining and travel. I spent a 2 weeks in Italy learning mosaic art. I look forward to returning to Europe. I also enjoy going to Playa del Carmen Mexico for relaxing getaways.
