One of a pair of Victorian villas built in the time of Queen Victoria's Jubilee. Set in the village of Dwygyfylchi, Conwy, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park the house is surrounded by mountains with the sea a short five minute walk away.
The house has recently been completely refurbished to a high standard and with a number of large Velux roof windows the house is full of light. The ground floor consists of a kitchen, dining area and lounge with flat screen tv. The dining room and lounge are fully carpeted as is the house throughout. The lounge area is comfortably furnished with curved sofa seating while the dining area has a full dining table and chairs with French doors access to the patio and garden.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dish washer, washing machine, gas hob, microwave and electric oven.
The first floor has a fully tiled bathroom with bath and separate shower, twin bedroom and master bedroom. From the twin bedroom you can wake up to the stunning scenery of the surrounding hills. The master bedroom at the front of house, with five foot double bed, looks towards the church with tempting glimpses of the sea. There is also a flat screen TV/DVD player.
A further upper level has the option to be a used as a twin or a double bedroom. The large Velux roof windows offer stunning views of the surrounding moutains while from the front there are better views of the sea. There is also a 50 inch. flat screen tv.
The property is bordered by high hedges offering complete privacy to the sun trap garden with a shady apple tree. There is a patio area with a BBQ, large deck with the outside dining table, chairs and sun parasol. Coming soon ! we are installing a gas wood burner in the sitting room on the 15th Jan (URL HIDDEN) has arrived and workes well
Guests have full use of the house and the private garden.
As the property is being let as a full own use house guests will be personally welcomed and left to enjoy the house for the period of their stay.
Although there is no parking actually on the property there is always easy parking directly across the road from the house or by the nearby church and green.
This is a no smoking house. Neighbours would appreciate music played at a reasonable level. It would be appreciated if guests would not wear outdoor shoes in the house. No pets are allowed. I have been in the catering industry for many years and I am a fully trained chef and started life as an apprentice at The Ritz in London but in more recent years have moved into management and have managed large catering organisations here in North Wales.
I have also worked away and spent some years in Bermuda running a seafood restaurant as well as working for a while in South America.
I love the warmth and sunshine so myself and my partner like to spend time in our house in Turkey when we can.
I am also a trained yoga teacher so enjoy an active life which also includes walking and cycling especially as we live in the heart of Snowdonia -we are spoiled for choice!
Having been in catering all my life I like to feel that I know about making guests feel welcome. As a guest myself I'm really accommodating as I'm not one to sit around waiting for meals to arrive so you may find me in the kitchen doing more than a guest might be expected!
As far as wise words of wisdom are concerned I have borrowed a motto from tv's Alex Polizzi which I really liked - there's no point in trying to polish a turd!
