You are welcome to stay right opposite Shadwell station in zone two. The room is fully furnished in a three bedroom flat. The areas to share with another two guests are the bathroom, kitchen and toilet.
Ideal for interns, business trips or short term contracts anywhere in London but specially in any of our two financial districts. Shadwell is jammed right between The City and Canary Wharf.
When taking a room, guests have access to a very clean shared kitchen with mod cons, including a washing machine; bathroom and toilet.
I don't live in the property but in another one right opposite. So, this would give guests all the freedom and comfort they may want and expect within their own space. Nevertheless, I want to always make myself available to guide people who are new to London. Being new in any city brings so many doubts and there is always so much to learn. From the big logistics like transport to food outlets, etc. I am self employed so, I'm available all the time to be contacted by sms, call or wassap with any questions. I will be happy to help.
The flat is to be shared with another two professionals and airbnb guests with mixed, busy schedules. It does work just like any guest house but not like a flatshare. Each room is let independently so, while everyone is friendly and polite, interacting is not compulsory nor expected. But everyone should show consideration in terms of noise and cleanliness of the shared areas.
All guests have keys to the flat and no one else is expected to call at the door. Guests are never expected to attend to it at all unless expecting a food order to be delivered of course. Rules against smoking are tight as guests are not welcome to smoke outside the front door either. So, smokers need not inquiry. As pointed above, basic manners and consideration are expected in terms of noise as the flat should be in a sleeping mode between 23 hours and 08 hours. This means noise kept to a minimum during this time. Also, the shared areas are kept immaculately clean for all to enjoy so, guests are expected to leave any area as clean and tidy tidy as found. The kitchen can certainly be used for all its purposes except for cooking meat. If this is to be consumed, it should be bought already prepared. Environmental awareness is expected too as the flat operates a green policy in all aspects. Everything should be left turned/switched off when leaving the flat. Also, all waste should be separated into two different bags, one for recycling and another one for composting. We are very lucky that we can place all recyclables in the same bag so, the only thing to separate is the compostable stuff. There's a small bin in the bathroom for hygiene materials like cotton buds and feminine care.
