Wood Floors, wake up to the sunrise peaking in massive bay windows, unobstructed view San Francisco. enjoy the sunset, and a drink from the roof deck. This is where you need to be. This is the city. Welcome to my home and neighborhood.
You'll have a full bed that comfortably sleeps TWO, as well as a pull out bed underneath. The pull-out bed has sheets but no padding - it's just an extra space if you have three people.
You're basically in the heart of San Francisco here. One block from a bus stop and two blocks from beautiful Alamo Square Park. Two blocks from the main street of Divisadero which has many popular restaurants and cafes. I work in a restaurant so I'm quite knowledgeable about where to go and what to do. Very close to Golden Gate Park as well. You can quickly get downtown, head into the mission, check out Pac Heights or the Marina, or go down to the Richmond.
My place is very clean. You have your own shower with bathtub, self-made to-do lists of awesome restaurants, bars, walks, stores, etc... I have wireless internet as well.
There is street parking all around me. It's a bit easier in the mornings. Unfortunately I do not have my own parking space.
The kitchen has a stove and toaster and also gets a lot of natural light. I love making coffee here in the morning. I will always have coffee available for you to grind and make for yourself in the morning!
Any questions you have, I am close by to help you out!
As much or as little as necessary. I just want to make sure you have a fantastic time while you're here!
Please make sure you respect the neighbors. This is an old building so the walls are thin. No partying please! Otherwise, this is a very peaceful location to enjoy San Francisco and relax at night.
Prior to leaving, please pull all sheets off the bed, as well as all the towels that have been used. You can leave them on top of the bed.
Please wash all used dishes and leave them in the drying rack.
Leave the house basically as you found it. :)
I will take care of the rest!
I've been living in San Francisco for a few years now but I like being on the move and traveling as much as possible. I write everyday and read as much as possible. Everything from classics to the most modern. Music is extremely important to me. I like to blast jazz music during the day, classical at night, i love blues and rock n roll, electronic... I'm curious about everything. I also play guitar, piano and write songs.
I've managed a popular restaurant here in the Bay Area for the past three years and am very much a supporter of getting locally grown fruits and veggies. I cook at home and love going out to eat as well. As such, I'm quite knowledgeable about the right places to go eat, drink and enjoy yourself in San Francisco.
I bike often, usually through Golden Gate Park and down to the beach.
But I also like walking and have gained a new appreciation for the city by taking long walks with no particular destination in mind.
When I travel I like to absorb as much about the places as possible. Sleeping is not much of a priority for me - eating, drinking, seeing shows, art, music, etc is most important. I'll sleep when i get home.
My life motto can best be summed up by this Henry Miller quote:
"“Every day we slaughter our finest impulses. That is why we get a heartache when we read those lines written by the hand of a master and recognize them as our own, as the tender shoots which we stifled because we lacked the faith to believe in our own powers, our own criterion of truth and beauty. Every man, when he gets quiet, when he becomes desperately honest with himself, is capable of uttering profound truths. We all derive from the same source. there is no mystery about the origin of things. We are all part of creation, all kings, all poets, all musicians; we have only to open up, only to discover what is already there.”
