The penthouse is on the top floor, close to the beach. The apartment has a living area of 184m² and 100m² of terraces.

The flat has been renovated in May 2017.

The cleaning fees include clean sheets and towels which are lent, the check-in and the check-out.

Le penthouse est au dernier étage avec une vue sur toute la ville, à 100 mètres de la plage, avec un jacuzzi. L'appartement a une surface habitable de 187 mètres carrés et 100 mètres carrés de terrasses. L'ensemble de l'étage est à disposition: il n'y a pas de voisin.

Le penthouse est au dernier étage avec une vue exceptionnelle sur toute la ville, à 100 mètres de la mer. Il y a deux terrasses de 40 mètres carrés ainsi qu'un jacuzzi.

Le quartier de la Marina est un des quartiers les plus huppés d'Ashdod. Il est près de la plage, près du centre ville. Un grand terrain de jeu est en bas de l'immeuble.

Il y a des bus et des taxis à proximité.

Please make sure to leave the apartment in a reasonable condition which case additional cleaning fee will be charged (do not enter into the jacuzzi with send for example and don't let the hood opened).

Please do not let the air conditioning lighing all the time, you have to turn off when you are out of the flat, because it consumes a lot of electricity and can damage the air conditioning.

Moreover, please note if you exceed your electrical consumer package which is 13 Kwh per guest and per day (minimum 4). If you overtake your package you will pay with the airbnb caution : the price is 0,53 nis/Kwh for additional electricity (national price in Israel).

If you don't willingly respect the rules of the procedure, the caution will be required.
Failure to manual will be charged at the discretion of the owner and Airbnb function damage.

The recurring costs are :
- Change the water of the jacuzzi : 200 nis (around 48 Euros)
- Each hour for more than 4 hours for the cleaning will be charged for 50 Nis/ hour (around 12 Euros)
- For each hour of delay compared to the initial Schedule (check-in or check-out), we will charge 50 Nis/hour (around 12 Euros)

At check-in, a paper which talks about the cleaning, the objects and the machins in the flat, has to be signed by renters.

We stayed recently at this penthouse for a week and thought a long time about what feedback to give. On the one hand we really don't want to complain , on the other hand it's only fair to warn other people that all is not what it seems. As other reviews have already said. The penthouse is spacious and the views are magnificent. But living there is an unpleasant experience. When you rent a holiday apartment you get there expecting it to have all that it advertises to have. But unfortunately here this was not the case at all. To begin with despite so many people complaining about the impossible light system, the owner did not change the system or make it easier to use. There is only enough hot water supplly for 1 or 2 people at a time . How can this be acceptable when it is advertised for 8 people. The hot tub on the balcony was completely out of order and despite speaking to you about it, it would not heat up. Even so we tried for hours to make it work as you know. You told us that it has to stay on all the time however after half an hour it would cut off and as you explained that it is a security feature which cuts off power to the hot tub when you first switch it on. So basically we were going in circles between switching it on and then having to reset it. In the end we just gave up on it completely. The tv s too did not work even so previous reviews already mentioned it. Also many other little things could have been put in the apartment to make the stay more enjoyable, for example a chair in each bedroom or some hanging hooks etc... We would strongly suggest to Yaniv to come and stay in his own apartment for a few days and see for himself what it is like. If you could take the time to invest in the finishing touches you will start having positive feedback Kathleen and her husband were very kind and helpful They did the best they could with the mission impossible they were given.

Joseph, I'm very sorry if you hadn't a pleasant experience in my house. I tried to do the best for the satisfaction of my renters but sometimes it's not enough for any reasons. I decided to be very competitive in the price and that's why I can't change everything in the flat, like for example the lights system, even if it's complicated, it's a smart system which costs very expensive. Next time I will try to be more clear to help the renters to understand how use it. For the hot water, we put a automatic system because before the renters let the hot water turned on all the time and it was very expensive in electricity. But it's not true when you say it's useful for just 2 people. We can change the time of the heating per day but by default it was 1 hours, two times per day, so it's more than 2 people. Besides, you called me at 6 AM after the first night to have some explanations about the hot water and I explained how put the manual use of hot water, so after this moment you had hot water as you wanted. I think it's important to say the exact truth. Concerning the hot tub, it seems that a old renters touched the filter, that's why it was turned off everytime with the security. It's true that you asked me the first morning (at the same time that the hot water) how works the hot tub, and I explained you. However, you didn't call me again about it, I couldn't know that the hot tub hadn't still work. If you had called me, I would send you someone who is specialized in the Sundance Jacuzzi, and it would have been fixed after 2 days maximum. Concerning the TV, and maybe it's important for future renters to read that : - I have 2 TV : one in the living room with an apple TV and french channels, and another one in the main bedroom with a DVD lector and israelian channels. I proposed you to put you the french channels (we stole me my old apple TV one month ago and the new apple TV was changed just before your arrival) on the new apple TV but you didn't interest in it. You can understand that I can have channels in every language ! I put french and hebrew because it's the 2 most used languages of my renters.

Good value for the money. Must have a car to really enjoy the benefits of lower cost Ashdod. It is a good base for trips all over the country

This apartment has great potential, but unfortunately, has been neglected. The location is great, with a beautiful view of the sea, and the apartment is spacious. Problems needing attention: - It is difficult to gain entry to the property, the building, and the apartment. Better details should be provided in advance, with the host meeting the guest upon arrival. - All beds should be made up with linens, not just the exact count of guests. This would allow for changes to be made in sleeping arrangements. - The TV in the main living area was broken (they knew about this in advance but did not inform us). - The safety glass panels on the balcony where the hot tub is are broken and make it VERY unsafe. Additionally, they make a ton of noise in the wind and kept us up at night more than once. - There were no trash cans in the bathrooms - The bed sheets/linens and blankets are extremely poor quality - they are threadbare. They need to be replaced. - Most basic supplies for the kitchen and bathrooms were not supplied. No hand soap, trash bags, detergent, etc. - The light switches are the most confusing I have ever seen! - The towels are thin and need to be replaced. We were not reimbursed for any of these problems. I think that if we didn't have these problems the apartment would be a great place to stay and she could actually charge more for it, but for the condition that it was, even with a cheap price, it was still a headache for us to deal with.

David, I think that your comment is not unfair at all. Firstly, everything is explained on how enter in the building and in the flat on the Airbnb announce (the code of the building, the floor : we are alone in the floor). We had to let the key for you and arrive 20 minutes later because you should arrive at 7pm30 and you were arrived at 9 pm and we couldn't wait more than one hour. Besides, I didn't ask for you to pay for the late even if it's written on the Airbnb rules (50nis per hour). Of course we explained you everything about the flat. Of course not, we put the number of beds to avoid that we are more than it was expected because the price depends on the number of people. I remind you that you should be 6 people and you were 7. I didn't ask for you to pay for the extra person but I could also claim for that (5€ per person and per day, so 35€). Thus you can see that your two first remarks were unfair and if someone can be embarrassed for that it should be us. I don't know why you talk about the hot tub : it works and it works everyday and every time. However, when you were in the flat, the weather was very bad, it's raining every day and there's a storm. Maybe that's why you couldn't use it, am I responsible for the weather ? Indeed, you said that there was a lot of noise in the terraces. Of course, the flat is in front of the beach on the last floor (18th). When there's a storm, there's a lot of noise. I don't think that I am responsible for that. Because of the storm, there is a power outage in à part of the flat. You told me about it one day by night and the next day in the morning I sent you an electrician and everything was fastly fixed, so what you expected more than this ? You said that the TV in the living room is broken. Firstly it's not true. The Tv is not broken. Just, in the living room, I don't have the channels and there's a DVD lector for this month only, because an old renter stole me the apple TV. So the Tv is not broken. Beside, you lied when you said that I didn't tell you. I informed you 3 weeks before your arrival about the steal. I needed to purchase a new one but I couldn't until now. I purchased a new one this week on internet, I m waiting for the delivery. Everytime when you wanted anything, I answered you very fast (less than 10 minutes) by phone or by messages. So you can't say that we didn't explain you anything. And Finally, you overcome the electricity package but I didn't ask for you to pay for that because I was nice again. For all these reasons, I think that your comment was completely unfair and reveals many unreal thinks or unclear remarks like for example : the towels. What about the towels ? We gave you 12 towels, whom 8 were almost new (purchased 4 months ago). If you were unsatisfied by our towels you could take yours. We can't purchase new towels for each renter and two towels per person for one week it's very nice from us and it's just a gift from us.

It is a very special penthouse with unique view. You can see that the owner invest a lot of money in this flat but it was some 10 years ago, and sadly the general maintenance condition is poor.

Went with a group and can honestly say we had a great time. Beautiful place in an amazing city. You would be a fool to pass this apartment up!!
