Coming to Seattle with the kids in-tow? We have a fully isolated, finished & furnished basement - 2 BR, 1 bath 1.5M from light rail, on the Car2Go and Bus line and next to Seattle's best park.
The bathroom has recently been remodeled.
We use the space when guests aren't staying with us - it is set-up for small children so there are games, puzzles, toys, etc. The space isn't The Ritz but it's clean, comfortable, and great for 2-5 people - especially children.
Fully furnished finished basement.
Kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath (bathtub/shower combo), TV, cable, internet.
The entire lower-level (1,200 SF) is yours for your stay - you can even use the laundry machine!
As much as guests would like to - we're a family with two toddlers so if you want play-dates, activities and the rest of the madness that comes with kids - we're your place
We have 2 kids, the house can get noisy in the morning, but we're listing this mainly for people who will be bringing kids or who don't mind noise between 7-9AM and 5-8PM.
The place is generally an urban oasis but only on weekdays from 830AM to 530PM - our kids love to run, jump, and throw the occasional temper-tantrum.
There is also a hot tub that is usually functioning, but no guarantees and use at your own risk. Don't book this place if you're betting on a functioning hot tub!
Be reasonable, sane and clean. Be sociable (if you want and we're available). Take care of the house like it's your grandma's house and we'll take care of you (basic food items, coffee, maybe even beer!) like you're our grandma.
Strip and replace bedding (provided) on departure date.
Wipe down sinks, toilet, and tub (supplies provided).
Throw away all trash in trash cans.
Check-out is at 12PM
Check-in is at 4PM (unless prior arrangements made)
Ask to use the grill.
No drugs, indoor smoking, or illegal activity.
Family of 4. We're a bit crazy but a whole lot of fun. 2 girls + Mom = outnumbered dad.
As hosts, we'll do just about whatever you need to be comfortable. We may forget a thing or two, so just remind us and you'll get it.
As we say elsewhere, it can be a bit noisy in the house with the girls running around but most of the time we have guests, we put big pillows on their feet so they're not so loud (ok, that's not true, but we try to keep them more like mice as opposed to monsters).
