I love to cook and work in my garden. I enjoy the peace and quiet of living in the islands and the time spent with my family. My favourite saying is "Every morning I awake torn between a desire to save the world and an inclination to savour it; this makes it hard to plan the day".
The property that I am currently hosting, and residing on, has been in my family for 5 generations and is the original landing site of the British Loyalists that fled New York after the United States won their independence. I am a native born Bahamian and as a host I would like to share the beauty of my country with my guests and offer them a truly unique experience off the proverbial "beaten path".
The Cottages were built by my parents in the mid seventies and it is my pleasure to still have them available so that guests may enjoy this extremely unique and tranquil location. We have had travelers from all over the world stay with us and they all have the same comment when asked how we can improve, the response is "don't change anything!"
Everyone that visits takes a little piece home in their hearts and leaves a little piece to be nurtured by this special place until they return again.
