As I mentioned to him privately, I can understand he felt there were some issues but his tone and attitude were totally out of place and not appropriate toward my co-host and he never mentioned anything to me during his stay. To take the issues one by one; it is true that the St-Moritz lay out can be a bit tricky and the entrance of the tower not properly signed by the management however I did put some indications (that I guess are not sufficient) however by just asking around or contacting my co-host directly would have been enough. On top of that they are the ones who told my co-host they would be late and to just drop the keys/access to the lobby for their late arrival and then they blame her for not being there or meeting face to face lol. About the names yes it is true that I only provided the first names to my co-host and didn't even think she would need to know the last name. Regarding the use of an access card inside an elevator I will not even comment on it as it seems so obvious for anyone who has ever been to a hotel and/or condominiums apartment tower... however if any problems with it the people there would be glad to help and show them right away or once again a simple text/call. The room was hot because it's Jakarta and it's hot there and we do not leave the AC on 24/7 or prior to the guest arrival because it's not economical and also not environmentally friendly. I do not know about the particular quality of the towels as they are the first ones to complain about and maybe they are getting over washed and need to be changed (to be determined). Once again I have never had any complains from previous guests about bedding. Cleanliness of the apartment is usually very good and not an issue hard to tell if the guest is exaggerating or not about it but we always aim to give a very clean apartment to our guests. The second room is exactly as advertised on the pictures and listed as a sofa/bed (and not a double bed) so I don't understand the surprise maybe they did not look carefully the listing. There is no cable TV in the bedroom indeed (maybe a future add-on) but there is FirstMedia in the living room and everyone who knows FirstMedia know that the guest is lying about that because they have lots of local channels but also all the main english channels like StarWorld, FX, E!, FoxMovies & Sports and so on... so maybe he did not know how to use it as well and could have asked nicely (which they didn't). Power complains are out of our control (as it's from the building) and for someone who claim to have lived for so long in Indonesia I find it hard to believe they are not familiar with it and they do not happen that often but sometimes they do some work on lifts or else and switch the power from the main supply to the back or vice-versa it makes the main circuit breaker pop. It just shows once more the character of the person... However once again the maintenance team and technicians are always willing to help and take a look when that happens (however they might not speak english very well, but once again a text or call to me or my co-host would quickly solve the issue without a fuss) I am not sure why they found it strange not to meet my co-host other than for check-in (which they told her not to because they were late) and/or for check-out because it is not a bed & breakfast and most people prefer to be left alone during their stay. Yes indeed I found it very hypocritical from someone who never replied or even acknowledged my last 2 messages prior to their stay to help organising their check in. There was nothing difficult about their communications with my host which was mostly by texts that I saw, but his tone indeed and attitude were inappropriate and not polite. The price is maybe indeed higher than other apartments but the decoration is unique and stylish and that is why as I'm sure most of our guests know to appreciate. Indeed I think for them it is obviously that a hotel would be much nicer as they want somewhere with people attending to their every needs instantly and to guide them through every little things like using a lift or using the TV. I am sure for those who read everything you will quickly realise the type of persons he is by reading his comments, and for those who are considering to stay in our place, you can read all the other reviews, know that I have a super host status and those are hard to get from airbnb and not for no reason (though they might remove it after this review), and that also no matter what, my co-host and myself are always available before or during your stay to fix any issues you might have or try to accommodate any requests you might have (reasonably speaking of course) which you can see by my response rate (within the hour). By the way Guy never texted me or mentioned anything to me during the whole stay till I texted after his check out to inquire about the key/access card he dropped in the lobby. But some people prefer to complain and put people down rather than being of goodwill, fair, honest, and trying to resolve the issues. As I said on his review it was a very poor experience on the human side but those things happen. And for those who plane hosting them in the future, good luck ;)
