Villa Oasis was the perfect place to stay during our Nevis vacation. Beginning several months before our arrival, probably the day we made the booking, Pulmattie Ross, the villa owner’s representative, made herself available to help. I used to live in Nevis and still have several friends there who had offered to help, but Pulmattie made all the arrangements so easy that I didn’t need to enlist any of them.
She arranged a taxi from the airport in St. Kitts to Reggae Beach, where she met us at the waiting water taxi, which took us to Oualie Beach, Nevis. The rental car that Pulmattie had arranged was waiting for us, and we followed her for the 3 minute drive across the street and up the hill to Villa Oasis.
We had been a bit nervous about the villa since pictures can be deceiving, but our worries immediately disappeared. It was even nicer than the pictures! Villa Oasis is clean, well maintained, it has a beautiful view and a convenient location. It’s located a 5 minute walk from Oualie Beach Resort, which has a great restaurant and bar, and has concessions on property for scuba diving, cycling, kayaking, windsurfing, and fishing. Between the fully equipped kitchen and the barbecue grill next to the pool, we had many of our meals in the villa. There is so much to do in Nevis, but we were always glad to return to the villa at the end of the day to enjoy cocktails on the deck for the sunset. It totally exceeded our expectations. Life at Villa Oasis was ideal, but 10 days flew by way to quickly.
Since Pulmattie was always a phone call away, we contacted her a few days before departure to ask about our return trip to the St. Kitts airport. 15 minutes later she called back to say that all arrangements had been made. Seriously, she made it that easy. I highly recommend a Nevis vacation, and for what we were looking for, Villa Oasis was the perfect place to stay.
