Comfortable double bed; airy with two light-filled windows; lots of closet space; extremely quiet; walk to the ocean, to downtown Manhattan Beach, to restaurants and to shopping malls. Bathroom is very user-friendly with double sinks, etc. Wi-Fi. Friendly pets (a small dog and a cat). A helpful host. You will love it all!
Spacious 2300 sq. ft. home in friendly, beautiful neighborhood. My home is a "kick off your shoes and make yourself comfortable" spot. You'll love sitting on the upper patio sipping your morning coffee or walking to the beach. And there's extraordinarily good shopping with fantastic restaurants (3 malls within 1 mile!).
You're welcome to enjoy the chaise lounges in the backyard and the upper patio for reading, dining and chatting. The kitchen is limited to microwave cooking. There's plenty of food storage space in the fridge and cupboards. FREE bottled water available to my guests.
All my guests have had wonderful, memorable stays and found my home to be a very quiet, easy-going spot.
Everything is casual, so I simply ask that you let me know if there's anything you need, want or desire to make your stay perfect.
I've lived in Manhattan Beach 25 years and know the South Bay area better than most tourist guides! I'd be glad to give you restaurant recommendations, tips on where to go to shop, where the best beaches are, you name it.
I'm a proud mom of two sons (25 and 27) who were raised in our large home in our beautiful community of Manhattan Beach. I love movies, theatre, volunteering, my friends...and my family, of course. I've traveled around the world both personally and professionally, so I know how important a comfortable room can be. I like my guests to feel relaxed and completely happy during their visit. Our residential neighborhood is friendly, low-key, safe and QUIET.
I can help point out the best restaurants, sightseeing spots, etc. And because I want my guests to be completely comfortable, it's important to emphasize that a dog and a cat live in my home. They're very friendly, but I understand that people can be allergic.
You're welcome to store food in the fridge and pantry, and you can use the microwave. But there are no cooking privileges. Though my guests are responsible for keeping their room and bathroom clean, a housekeeping team thoroughly cleans the house on a regular basis. And I frequently vacuum, dust, etc. to make sure the house sparkles.
Overall, I know you'll LOVE my home because it's easy-going, has a large backyard, has an upper patio for eating or reading, is in a quiet neighborhood and is only a short distance from the beach (which is the nicest beach in the world, as far as I'm concerned). And there are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. It's perfect!
