The house is a typical Lille terraced house of 3 storeys, quite like English terraced houses, right down to the letterbox in the front door. The house is not wide, but extends back two rooms,
The house is not wide, but extends back two rooms, and on the ground floor, there is an extension. The front door opens onto the sitting room which is spacious and comfortable. Further back is the kitchen which is also spacious and has a big wooden table. The back corner of the extension has the toilet (the only one in the house) and the laundry area. The kitchen opens onto a narrow garden with a shed at the back. The staircases are wooden and both very steep. The middle floor of the house has the two large children’s bedrooms. There is a bathroom containing a small bath and a basin. The top storey is under the eaves but still spacious with high enough ceilings. There is a master bedroom and a TV room. All the beds were comfortable.
We corresponded in French or German and Fanny was quick to reply and answer our questions. My English is not good !
Fanny had left a few guide books for us and some brochures and she was happy to give us her advice on activities for children and where to buy food.
Caramel the cat is a young, pleasant cat that sleeps outside. If you let him in the house, keep the bedroom doors closed as he will settle down for a sleep on or under the beds
No smoker Haus.
Bonjour.
