HOST: Hey, we're Augusta Team and we'd be happy to be your hosts here in Palawan. We do our best to set expectations for our listings. We encourage you to ask any questions you have about the listings prior to booking so that we can ensure you're getting the best possible experience. We hate to have disappointed guests!
Our family owns and runs several holiday rentals. We offer accommodations for different kinds of travelers-solo, family, backpacker, long-term or passing through. Our property is located in a quiet residential area with a lovely garden. We would like to create a quiet space with a laid-back vibe where people can feel at home and relax.
Edit/Jan 2016: The family now has a baby! Be ready to say hi to our little one when you stay with us or if we stay with you.
GUEST: We are budget travelers but splurge on a nice hotel room every so often or when a very good deal comes up. But even with a small budget for accommodation, we really make an effort to find places that, although spartan, are very clean. When we arrive in a city for the first time, the first thing we do is find the biggest bookstore and the cutest pastry shop then we take in a little culture. We're a bunch of slow pokes when exploring a city, we don't rush and try to see everything on the menu, instead we leisurely go around at our own pace and see what we can manage to see and don't feel too bad when we miss a temple or two. Food is very important for us though, we go where the local food is best served or look up good restaurants that can't be found anywhere else.
