I am a wife and mother of two with the opportunity to stay at home and raise our children. I am a professionally trained portrait photographer. Our family spends our spare time in the outdoors and exploring the East Coast from Charleston, SC to Albany, NY. We enjoy history and after moving from California three years ago we have a whole new area to explore, and in what better city than the home of Thomas Jefferson.
My husband and I enjoy reading books together and gardening. He is a nurse at UVA Medical Center and going to school to receive his Doctorate in Nursing to teach.
As a couple we enjoy wine tasting. The region here produces very different wine than what we drank in the Napa/Sonoma Valley in California, however our pallets are diversifying. We love hosting parties and trying an array of new food. Live entertainment is wonderful. We have enjoyed everything from Wicked in San Francisco, California to The Taming of the Shrew in Staunton, Virginia.
We love hiking, biking, backpacking, car trips, exploring, resting and eating.
