My home is a 10min drive from Ak airport, in the suburb of PAPATOETOE I can sometimes pickup and drop off. However this depends on your arrival or departure times as I have varying daily commitments. Rental not a problem there's off street parking.
My space is not a Motel or Hotel so the price reflects this. It's a double room with a king single bed 42in Wide & 80in Long. There is also a single trundler bed which lies underneath. For couples the king single is ok for two average sized adults. Alternatively I can put up the single trundler as well which also has a very comfortable mattress. This option means the space is abit tight but there's a built in wardrobe where you can store luggage. So let me know when you book as I have to rearrange the room . I share the house with my brother and you share his bathroom. My daughter stays in a self contained unit at the back of the house with a friend from Martinique whose first language is French. You will be welcomed and treated like a friend of the family during your stay
My quarters are upstairs and are off limits to guests. Downstairs are the common areas of lounge, kitchen, dinning, bathroom and laundry.
The bathroom is shared with one other
All facilities and utensils can be used as long as you wash & put away all dishes leaving the area clean and tidy
My work hours are 4am to 7am home for an hour then 8am to 1.30pm. Im usually home around 2pm. So I can be home to greet you at check-in time. Most afternoons I'm available to help out with any questions or concerns you may have.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU STATE PAPATOETOE WHEN GIVING THE ADDRESS. THERE IS ANOTHER 83 CORONATION ROAD NEAR THE AIRPORT

I class myself as Maori but I'm 50% European. I've lived in NZ all my life and can't imagine living anywhere else. I do however love travelling to other countries. Loved China holding a Panda Bear was the highlight. Driving in Chennai India was an experience never to be forgotten. Having a local in Kuala Lumpur perform a haka because I was wearing an ALL BLACK T-shirt was amusing.
I was honoured in 2016 to be asked by Airbnb to front their first advertising campaign and radio promotion in NZ So I was quite famous for a few months.
My hosting style is very friendly and welcoming. I quite often go out of my way to help or entertain my guests. This depends entirely on their free time and mine
