Large, fully remodeled, very comfortable apartment. It has a large balcony with a gorgeous ocean view and a nice breeze from which you can also see the central mountain range including El Yunque, the Rain Forest, at a distance.
The apartment has excellent facilities including a spectacular king size platform bed with a Select Comfort Sleep Number mattress, and split unit air conditioning in both the bedroom as well as the living / dining room. The apartment has cable TV including Netflix, a Blue Ray DVD, a Receiver, and free wireless internet.
The full kitchen has new appliances, including microwave, oven, dishwasher, both espresso and regular coffee machines, blender, etc. The apartment also has a washing machine and dryer.
The apartment can accommodate two additional people (for a total of four) as it has a very comfortable Bassett sofa bed.
Guests have available at the apartment beach towels and chairs, as well as a beach umbrella. Lounge chairs and bigger umbrellas can be rented at the beach.

Guests have access to the olympic size pool, children's pool, tennis courts, basketball court, children's play area and picnic area, and direct access to the beach. Guests can also access paying laundromat in first floor although the apartment has washer and dryer.

Either my wife or myself, or both, personally receive our guests when they arrive. I explain all the apartment facilities, and give my guests the keys to the apartment as well as the electronic key that provides controlled access to all common facilities (in addition there is a 24 x 7 security service, with a guard house at the entrance to the complex). I also give my guests a tour of the building’s common facilities and show them the controlled gate that provides direct access to the beach.
My guests will have my cell phone number to contact me, in which case I can come to see them to take care of any problem. In addition my wife and I often visit the building to use its common facilities and/or stay at one of the two apartments we own, when they are not in use by guests. Therefore there is a chance our guests and us may meet in the hallway or on the beach while we are there.
However, we realize that our guests will want to relax privately when on vacation, and will minimize our interaction to what is required.

The apartment building is in the middle of the Isla Verde tourist area, which is the finest tourist section in the San Juan metropolitan area. The beach is excellent, and the area is generally not crowded. From casinos, nightlife and fine dining, the area has it all. You will also find many fast food and inexpensive dining options within walking distance. You can stroll on the sidewalks in the area until fairly late at night since the local police has a significant presence throughout.
There is even world class shopping across the Moscoso bridge in the newly opened Mall of San Juan. Plaza Las Americas, the biggest Mall in the Caribbean, and one of the most successful in the U.S., is just 20 minutes away by car.
El Yunque Rain Forest is 45 minutes away by car, and Old San Juan is 20 minutes by taxi (about $20-25). You can rent a car for a day or a week at Charlie Car Rental (on the web - Isla Verde office), open 24 hours. Free parking is available as part of your rental. Only rent for the days you plan to use it as you can walk to the rental office.

Please coordinate with me your arrival by providing your flight information, as I will follow your flight on the internet.

There is a taxi stand in front of the InterContinental Hotel (to the left as you exit the building) next door, and the security guard can call a cab if needed be, or you can walk to it. You will need to use a taxi to go back to the airport (approximate fare is $15-20 plus tips).

Parking is included, in case you want to rent a car. I suggest you only rent for the days you need it. I recommend Charlie Car Rental (check their web site on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)), which is open 24x7. During the busy season make sure you reserve ahead. You can pick up their car by walking from the building to their office, which is nearby. When you return the car to their office, you can come back walking to the apartment. Charlie Car Rental also has a shuttle to the airport, in case you want to return the car the day you fly back.

There are public bus routes going to Old San Juan, with a bus stop in front of the condo. However they are infrequent and the schedule is "uncertain", typically every hour during daytime.

UBER is now available in the island. However UBER is not allowed to go to/from the airport.

For business travelers the apartment includes a laptop ready work desk, wifi and a printer.
I usually keep in the apartment tourist brochures and magazines that you can use. I will be glad to try to answer any questions you may have concerning sights to see or things to do while in Puerto Rico.

The number of guests staying overnight at the apartment must not be greater than the agreed number when you rented. Any extra guests must be agreed to and must be paid for.

You can use all the facilities of the Condo, swimming pools, tennis courts (if they are open), and basketball courts, except the Gym. Gym facilities are exclusive for owners, or people renting for more than three months, so don’t ask the attendant or the administration office for permission to use the Gym as it won’t be granted.

When going to / from the pool and/or beach you must use the service elevators. Before coming back from the beach please clean yourself from any sand that adheres to your bathing suit, body or feet in the showers provided for that purpose in the park, and in the pool area.

If you will be out of the apartment, please turn off the air conditioning. Electricity is very expensive in the tropics. The air conditioning will quickly cool the apartment or bedroom once is turned on.

Unless you are using the balcony, close the balcony door as rain is unpredictable and the wind will easily carry it into the apartment. For the same reason do not open windows.

There is a cabinet with two garbage bins (one for recycling) on the kitchen island. Garbage should be thrown out regularly in the garbage bins located in the room at the end of where the service elevators are.

No events or parties are allowed inside the apartment. Limit the number of people visiting to no more than 3. The Condo has strict rules against allowing outside visitors to use the facilities.

Other apartments in the condo are used by full time residents, or by owners that use them on the weekends. Guests are expected to behave quietly, especially after early evening.

We loved the accommodations which provided excellent necessities for our family (couple + daughter). It was exceptionally clean, organized and well maintained. The living room has a pull out sofa bed with air bag. My daughter loved it! There was an entertainment system to watch movies on Netflix with surround sound! Wifi was accessible no issues. The view! From the balcony, you see the beach and city. Night and day! We were not disappointed. Finally, access to the beach and pool were effortless. We truly recommend Rafael's place.

I want to tell you that after meeting Rafael I knew i didn't make a bad choice by booking the apmt. The greeting was professional and educational. I honestly will stay again and even bring my kids to this apmt. The kitchen is fully equipped and there was no surprises. Everything was outstanding. It really exceed it my expectations. If you are looking for a place in isla verde that you will not regret....this is the place. Enrique from Miami

The apartment was amazing. It was very cleaned and it had everything we needed and more. The neighborhood was lively and nice. Building security was top notch. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely rent this apartment again.

This place was awesome and everything that's you could need or want for your stay here was provided by the host from basketball to play ball to beach chair or towels I mean everything was here I barely had to use any of mine... I loved everything about this place and let's not even talk about the great view ,I highly recommend for anyone to stay here
