New Orleans has a good many feral cats. I call them, "Katrina Descendants". I look after four of them myself. They are all fixed. You will likely see them as they enjoy lounging on my porch.
Smoking is perfectly permissible on the porch, never indoors.

It's a wonderful locals magazine/periodical with an online version.
All depends upon the guest(s). We're here if you need us, we live right next door. Our home is a duplex. We'll also provide our cell numbers at check-in.
This is a medium sized urban city. We highly recommend you taxi/uber/lyft at night. Our home is located in a genuine New Orleans neighborhood. It has it's ups and downs, there's a little of everything here but we love it. It's real. It is not necessarily everyone's cup of tea.
No Indoor Smoking, Be Considerate Of Neighbors. In order to keep our prices "moderate" we request you keep the air conditioning at the temps displayed above the thermostat, that's 74 degrees during the day and 72 degrees at bedtime.
In the kitchen, we strive to provide everything you might need. We would greatly prefer our guests not fry food though. We would appreciate it greatly. If that is too inconvenient and you feel you simply must fry. An additional cleaning charge will likely be added. When someone fries food, the residue gets everywhere, it takes hours longer to clean properly.
No Pets, Sorry
We like to know who is staying in our home. No Third Party Bookings
We are a couple that always dreamed about owning a Guest House. We're 18 years together and though we haven't achieved our "Guest House" goal, we are happy to have our home in New Orleans (Little France).
Our home is a "double" with two mirror image apartments. We had a wonderful tenant (it was her teal wall in the living room that inspired my design) for two years but decided to make our "dream" something of a reality and try AirBnB. We LOVE the idea of hosting people from around the country and around the world and it is our hope to make many, many new friends via AirBnB.
We want all our guests to have a wonderful experience here in our city. We LOVE New Orleans and hope you will as well. Let us know, if there is anything we can do to make your stay more memorable (in a good way)
Welcome To Our Home!
