Maisonette apartment in a Grade 2 listed Victorian terraced house situated in E1, Whitechapel. With one large double bedroom and another standard double, it comfortably fits 4 and has the unique luxury of a private garden. 1 minute walk to Whitechapel tube station (District, Hammersmith & City, TFL Overground lines), 5 minute walk to a large superstore, 10 minute walk to signature landmarks such as Spitalfields Market, London Liverpool Street, Tower Bridge the Tower of London.
The property is set over the ground and basement floors of a converted Victorian terraced house. Unlike your typical new-builds, the property has bags of character in its layout and is nicely formed.
Very uniquely for properties in this area, it has a private garden which is a very good size and great in the summer. There is plenty of seating provided with cushions for extra comfort.
The master bedroom is a great size and the second bedroom doubles as a walk in wardrobe depending on how many people are staying. The second bed is the option of either a foldaway futon or an inflatable double bed with plenty of additional pillows and bedding to ensure a good night's sleep.
You have access to the whole property during your stay. The wardrobes will be all but emptied save for a few items in suit carriers so you have maximum storage space. The cupboard under the stairs will be used to store some of our belongings and more general items like a hoover, iron and ironing board and tool kit should you need them. No areas are off-limits but you are asked not to modify the property in any way i.e. do not put locks on doors.
More than likely I will not be in town during your stay however I will be contactable and happy to help if I can. I will also have an agent on hand should there be an emergency. I will pass on their details upon booking.
The property has 3 apartments in it including ours and they all share the same front door so you may see others coming and going during your stay. We do ask that you do not let others into the property if they do not have a key. As stated in the house rules, please ensure you lock the front door behind you when you are entering and leaving the building. There is a top lock and a bottom lock and the bottom lock requires locking with the blue key when you leave. When entering, the lock has a handle which you must twist once the door has closed. Please ensure the back door is locked with the top and bottom bolts if you have been into the garden.
- Strictly no parties please as these can be heard by the neighbours. There is no need to be unusually quiet and you can sit in the garden till midnight/1am as long as you keep it at a low level without music.
- You are more than welcome to smoke in the garden but please use the ashtrays provided. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property and please do not smoke at the front door.
- If you are returning to the property late this is fine but please be quiet. It is essential you lock the front door behind you using the bottom lock.
- You must lock the bottom lock when you leave the property.
- Please leave the garden furniture covered as you found it.
- Please take the trash out as and when necessary. The trash is just set by the front door to the property and is collected on Friday mornings.

Hi there - I'm Daniel. I am originally from Newcastle in the north-east of England but have been living in London since 2009 when I came down to study Film at university. I fell in love with London pretty quickly and don't see myself leaving any time soon. Silence of the Lambs is my favourite film; Madonna my favourite music artist (for better or for worse!), VEEP is my TV choice du jour, and book...let's just say I need to read more!
I met my partner whilst studying and we bought our place together a few years ago. I love hosting in general and my background is in hospitality so I find it incredibly exciting thinking of new ways to make someone's stay memorable.
I am a bit of a hotel enthusiast so I love keeping an eye out for the finer touches which can really make guests feel welcomed and cared for. I love interior design and can spend hours strolling the shops in the home-ware departments. This makes my partner very nervous!
My life motto is very much YOLO! You tend to only regret the things you haven't done. Oh, and work to live, don't live to work!
I hope you have a wonderful stay in London!
