Enjoyable neighborhood with an average Singapore-sized park for your morning/night activities.
Moderate accessibility if you are new to the place with proximity to Supermarket, Food Courts, convenience stores and light cooking is allowed.
If you've been around South East Asia on a budget, and would also like to take the road less travelled, Jurong is your space to be!
Be warned though, if you're on a rushing touch-and-go basis, it might get a little exhaustive being on public transport constantly.
But Singapore is only so 'big', anywhere and everywhere is connected by public transport efficiently!
I understand that laundry is a bitch when you travel (I backpacked halfway across the globe), we have laundromats just 5 minutes away but really, you could just use my washer. And yes it's for free
You have to hang it out to dry or head down to the laundromat's dryer though if you need them crisp and dried.
But please, make sure your clothing needing wash is in a pile. If you're asking me to machine wash three pieces of underwear, that is simply too environmentally unfriendly for me to allow it, otherwise I'm so charging you 5 bucks!
Oh yes one more thing, I love my toilets. So if you've ate something bad and have an atomic bomb that day, please make sure to at least spray with water or wipe off your remnants in the bowl. I'd be really grateful!
If you're wondering, washing is $5 and drying is $2 at the laundromat.
I own a tiger. Okay just kidding, I have a pussycat who sometimes think that she's a ferocious tiger.
If you're allergic to fur or cuteness, then it's bad news.
Do not bring your pets to mate with my cat too please. (There have been requests)
All bookings will be confirmed via Airbnb, so I'm not able to pre-block dates for you unless you confirmed with the site of your stay. (Have been gracing too many of such travelers and got stood up)
Please do not wear your shoes into the house.
Also, do not eat in the rooms. I've been to guesthouses with infestation problems, wouldn't want my guests to experience the same thing.
Lastly, like all other hostel notices, do not throw stuff to choke my toilet. It's bad manners, LOL.
Apart from that, I really don't think setting ground rules are a necessity.
More importantly, would want you to enjoy your stay!
