This bright & charming 2 bedroom home welcomes you into a Bohemian Long Beach community while being 8 blocks from the beach with nearby restaurants, shopping & tourist attractions.

Our home is a tastefully restored original American craftsman built in 1915 with modern upgrades.

The home is approximately 1100 sq ft. - Charming, quaint, well maintained, sophisticated yet welcoming and warm.

The master bedroom has a queen sleigh bed that sleeps two adults comfortably. The second bedroom has a full bed that sleeps two children or small adults comfortably.

The home also includes:

Fully stocked kitchen

15 minute walk to 2nd Street & Ocean Blvd.
10 minute drive to Shoreline Village

This is our primary home and when it is rented out we stay approximately 5 minutes away. While you are visiting, we will make ourselves available to you only if needed.

PLEASE NOTE: We have 1 mid sized dog that resides in the home when it is not being rented out. (Of course, we take him with us when it is).

If you suffer from dog allergies, this is probably not the home for you.

SUMMERTIME: Our home does not have air conditioning and it can get hot in the summer. Fans are provided in the home.

WINTER: The home can get nippy in the winter, but we DO have heat.

Section 1:
PAYMENTS:
*100% of the Full Rental fee is required at booking.
* Refundable deposit is required 48 hours prior to check in and is held by airbnb.

Section 2:
DAMAGE DEPOSIT:
The deposit is NOT applied toward the rent. The deposit is fully refundable within 48 hours after departure, provided the following provisions are met:

A/ No damage is done to the Property or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
B/ No charges are incurred due to contraband or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.
C/ All debris, trash and discards are placed in outside trash cans to the right of the garage doors in the Alley.
D/ All soiled dishes, glasses, cups, cookware; utensils are cleaned and put away.
E/ All keys are put back in the lockbox and the unit is locked.
F/ All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
D/ No Linens, Towels, Kitchen Utensils, Glasses, Dishes, Cookware, All Furniture, All Appliances, All Hardware, All Decor Objects, Dvd’s, Cd’s, Electronic Equipment are lost, stolen, or damaged.
E/ All towels and linens are accounted for and without stains. (Girls!! this is for you, please don’t wipe make-up, mascara tanning lotion, lipstick etc on towels, linens)
F/The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), or the local law enforcement.

Section 3:
FALSIFIED RESERVATION: Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money and the party will not be permitted to check in.

Section 4:
CANCELLATIONS:
Short-term reservations of less than four weeks:
* 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check in date, minus processing fee of $30.00
*Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent.

Section 5:
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY:
Not to exceed the maximum number of 5 occupants.
*There is a $25 charge prior to arrival for each additional overnight guest beyond four (4) guest’s total.
*Please let me know if there will be additional Guests prior to arrival.
*If more guests stay than on the rental agreement the deposit will be forfeited.

Section 6:
Check-In: 3 PM or After
Check-Out: 11:30AM or Prior

Early Check In:
*Unfortunately there is a $25 per hour fee for early check in requests; this is due to have to pay extra for another cleaner to clean more quickly than the usual time.
*Fees must be paid prior to arrival, please let me know when you are booking.
Sorry there is no refund if you arrive late after requesting an early check in.

Late Check Out:
*Unfortunately there is a $25 per hour fee for any persons or belongings left in the rental or the garage past the 11:30 AM check-out time and for every hour there after.

Section 7:
PARKING:
There is a Private ONE Outdoor Space for larger vehicles available. Please advise when booking if this is requested. Sorry it’s near the Beach and parking on the street in summer months can be difficult to find.


PLEASE DO NOT PARK BEHIND THE GARAGE AT ANYTIME! YOU WILL GET A TICKET OR BE TOWED!
This includes loading and unloading of guests and supplies. Repeated offenses of parking behind the garage will result in deduction from deposit.
If you park on Newport Blvd PLEASE watch for street sweeping signs where you park; You will get a ticket if parked when there is street sweeping which is Thursday Mornings at 11am -4pm.

Section 8:
Washer and dryer are provided. The washer and dryer are available to use at your convenience. Also VERY IMPORTANT DO NOT LEAVE THE PREMISES WITH THE WASHER AND DRYER ON, this can be very dangerous and cause fires. The owner is to be held free and clear of any and all liability to any guest if this occurs and guest will be liable for damage to the Property.

Section 9:
Linens: All Linens are provided as Follows:
1 Queen Set includes fitted bottom, flat top & 4 pillow cases, Duvet, and Duvet Cover.
1 Full Set includes fitted bottom, flat top & 4 pillow cases, Duvet, and Duvet Cover Extra sets available per amount of guests.
Extra sets are available per amount of guests only.

Towels: House and Beach Towels Provided as Follows
4 Bath Towels
4 Hand Towels
4 Face Towels
Extra towels available per amount of guests only.

Section 10:
Premises Rules:
1/ NO NOISE AFTER 10PM OR BEFORE 9AM
2/ You may have a fire in the outdoor Firepits, BUT ONLY when present and ALWAYS PRESENT. The Firepits are not to be left unattended. If a fire occurs the owner is to be held free and clear of any and all Liability to guests and the Guest will be liable for all Damage incurred to the Property.
3/ No fireworks.
4/ No large pieces of indoor furniture allowed outdoors.
5/ Flooring- Please be careful of the flooring! It is very sensitive to liquid and scratches! Please carry, do not roll suitcases on floors.
No outdoor equipment is allowed in the house! This includes bikes, surf boards, boogie boards, skate boards and ice chests. Any outdoor equipment found indoors will result in full forfeit of deposit.
6/There is no smoking on the premises. The premises include the house, Rear deck, Front Deck Garage and Grounds. Smoking in these areas will result in full forfeit of deposit. Smoking is only allowed behind the building in the alley area behind the garage door in which your car is parked. Please do not litter.
7/ Excessive sand found in rental, tub or sinks will result in full forfeiture of deposit!
8/ The Premises has screens on the windows. Removal of the screens could result in injury. If the screens are removed at anytime this will result in forfeiture of full deposit, CHILDREN ARE TO BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES AROUND WINDOWS,.

Section 11:
Pets: Pets are allowed with prior written consent and a Night fee & a deposit. Any pets reported on premises without prior approval in writing, will result in loss of full deposit.
Please remind any visitors that pets are not allowed on the property at anytime without Prior written approval. Pets on the property, including the patios, will result in forfeit of entire deposit if approval in writing is not obtained
* please be careful there are no gates on the Property and so please watch that your pet does not leave the property without your knowledge. The owner is to be held free and clear of any and all liability in regards to loss of pet.

Section 12:
NO PARTIES: Any police activity on the premises will result in loss of full deposit plus any fine fees and possible immediate eviction. There is a strict noise ordinance which is enforced by the Long Beach Police. No noise after 9PM. If there are any complaints from the neighbors, there will be a full forfeit of the deposit and an Imposed fine of $1000
Alcohol is not allowed on public property and that includes the beach. You WILL get a ticket.

Section 13
SPECIAL EVENTS:
The Property is available for special events. i.e Engagement Party, Wedding, Graduation, Birthday , Anniversary etc. There is an additional fee for hosting any type of party. Any Special Events without Prior written approval with result in full forfeit of entire deposit and an Imposed Fine of $ 5,000

Section 14:
The home is privately owned, the owner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities and shall be held free and clear of any and all Liability.
The homeowner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest.
There is an alley behind the unit. Please be sure all guests are safe, especially small children.
There is a Main Busy Street in front of the Property where cars can drive fast. Please be sure all guests are safe, especially small children & pets.
By accepting the reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.

Section 15:
Any litigation shall be held in a Long Beach California Courthouse. All court costs, lawyer fees, and any court related expenses shall be the responsibility of the loosing party.

Naja's home is set in the middle of urban life and quiet street surroundings of Long Beach, with 1920s era homes along the well kept street. Inside is comfort with original and modern mixed in. Naja met us on arrival, graciously showed us around the key points of the place, and made us feel at home. She also made herself available for any problems, but none came up during our stay.

Naja was incredibly accommodating. Even offered to pick me up from the airport. The place is centrally located in Long Beach, quaint and clean. Definitely would stay there again, Naja made the trip seamless.

Naja was very accommodating and presented a cozy and warm inviting home. It was very easy to make ourselves comfortable and we had everything we needed. The house was in a quiet neighborhood and after a long day of adventures, we were always happy to return back to our accommodations.

I traveled to long beach to participate in a ocean swim at seal beach. Naja was very helpful in accommodating my friends in her beautiful home. I was thinking of brining my boat to fish and Naja was more than helpful in accommodating my desires. I would highly recommend Naja; I've stayed in Airbnb apts and homes all over the globe and would highly recommend Naja to anyone wanting to stay or reside in the long beach area!

Naja was a wonderful host. My husband, one year old son and I arrived late traveling from the East Coast and Naja and her son were there to welcome us with open arms. The home was exactly as described and we were greeted with fresh brewed tea and wonderful aromatics of candles. We had an amazing time/routine stay and instantly felt at home. Being on East Coast time we would be up bright and early. We would drink coffee on the front porch and then head off to the beach for a workout. We spent a lot of mornings at the Coffee Cup Cafe right in the neighborhood for home cooked breakfast. When in the neighborhood we barely used our car and instead walked the neighborhood to the cool spots in Long Beach. The best part was the feeling of coming home after everyday. We had an amazing time and I would recommend Naja's home who is interested in a nice welcome, home from home atmosphere.
