The Annex is a luxurious, self contained, one bedroom unit with a carport attached to our home. It has a sunny private patio. Bathroom with shower. The kitchenette is well equiped. Tea, Coffee etc supplies are provided. The home is set in a peaceful estate with other large homes and gardens.
The unit is private, peaceful and quiet, a perfect place to come to after a day's activities when you need to unwind. The living space is generous and comfortable and leads to a private outdoor patio. The bedroom has two single beds which are pushed together to form a super-king sized bed for couples who wish it. ( please let us know when you are booking). The bathroom has a rain shower for your comfort. The patio is a private spot to enjoy sitting in the afternoon sun listening to the birds or sipping a sundowner. The home itself is set in a hectare of regenerating New Zealand bush. There are short walks within the estate - bring your walking shoes.
Guests have their own access to the unit and private patio. The guest carport is in front of the unit.
We love to welcome all guests who stay with us and will be available during their stay to help with any requests. Come and join us for a cup of tea or a glass of wine on arrival to feel at home.
The unit is serviced daily and I will try to do this between 12 and 2 pm. If you wish to stay indoors for the day, please indicate your intentions so that I can clean when it suits you. ( the main cleaning job is taking care of the shower, bins, dishes, towels and sheets if needed. The windows will be left open to allow for fresh air to circulate.)
No smoking - inside or outside.
No pets - not yours nor mine.
Do not invite guests.
No solid items down the toilet - septic tank. Our septic system is a mini waste water plant which depends on bacteria to break down waste - so no tampons, wet wipes, excessive amounts of toilet paper, hair dye, bleach, non organic soaps and shampoos should be used.
Use the red towels in the wardrobe for outdoor activities ( hot pools, beach etc )
Please be aware that I service the unit daily.
I am a mother of one daughter and wife to a process engineer. I love gardening, sewing, reading, and entertaining. I love healthy food ( to my detriment ) traveling, history, making new friends and learning about just about anything. I grew up in a German home in South Africa and while my German language is no longer perfect, I can still converse in it.
