Nice apartment filled with daylight, in the nicest part of Oslo. A young host who knows the citys secrets and that shares all the tips! Dine at one of many good restaurants, or buy fresh products from the fantastic markets and make it at home.
Spacious apartment localized in an amazing part of the city with life and culture. Personally I love living here and want to share that. I am an aestethics and litterature-student, 21 years old. I have lived in Oslo for approximately 3 years and It is my favourite city in Norway. Andreas is 22 and plays music. The neighborhood I think its the best in Oslo, it is east, and I will admit there is split opinions about it. I love living here, and do not want to move to any other part of town. I would say that its for the more open and artistic mind! The appartment is far from shabby, but Oslo is interestingly very divided in two, so it is sort of a "upper" side. Grønland, which is where the appartment is, is the other side, and a "trendy" place to live, with one of the biggest and cheapest veggie-markets, open all week, and a cool saturday-market which is fun to browse through.
The guests have access to a spacious kitchen with everything one might need. There is a shower and a washing machine in the bathroom, and it is offered clean towels and sheets for all visitors.
There is one bedroom with a double bed and a couch in the living room, and one fold-up bed in the bedroom.
If you want, i can meet you and show you the way at the central station/bus station (depend on time of arrival)
I will be in my own room during your stay, and am happy to help with just about everything. I can tip you about the attractions, restaurants and museums you should see, and of course how to get there. I know my way around Oslo!
It is up to you wheter you want this or if you prefer more privacy that is of course also ok!
My boyfriend is here in periods, a really nice guy who also can help you if you wish. If you are staying for a longer period, I have a loft you can place you suitcase/backpack, and a dresser where you can put your things, so you dont have to "live in your suitcase".
I allow visitors to bring visitors home for dinner(for example), as long as one lets another know. Clean up after using kitchen, and when normally appropriate. No smoking inside. And we take our shoes off inside in Norway.
I am an aestethics and litterature-student, 22 years old. I have lived in Oslo for approximately 3 years and It is my favourite city in Norway. I work in a store called Monki on the side of my studies. During my free time, I like to attend art exhibits, debates and concerts. I like making food, watching movies and reading books. Also I love animals and I am interested in music, fashion and interiour. Maria is my roommate which you will also meet! We share a lot of the same interests, and we will both host you.
I love to travel and I try to incorporate that in the student life. Maria and I share favourite places, and so far it is Paris and Barcelona. We both love Paris, the atmosphere, city life, the people and the style of both them and the city architecture. We love Barcelona (which maybe is like Paris with a beach?) for many of the same reasons, but with a plus for the tapas and sangria, hehe.
I would describe myself as a laid back host, and I would rather be more of a friend than the "owner" of the apartment. I am very interested in my guests, why they are in town, what they want to accomplish by visiting Oslo, and help them make that happen. I know my way around Oslo, and want to share that with my guests and get to know them:)
