In the south of the 9th arrondissement, next to Grands Magasins (Galeries Lafayette and Le Printemps are 10 minutes walk away), rue des Martyrs (10 minutes walk), and Butte Montmartre (15-20 minutes walk).
This 2 bedroom apartment is located on the 4th floor of a 19th century Parisian building (stairs, no lift), which has a security code. There is a Yoga Bikram center in the courtyard. If you want to practise during your stay, you can attend classes without registration (25 € for a single class, several class cards possible).
The 30 square meters living room with open kitchen has 4 windows overlooking the courtyard, and it is furnished with : fully furnished kitchen (oven, micro-wave, 4 electric hobs, fridge, dishwasher, wahing machine, toaster, kettle, iron, iron-table, and all kitchenware needed), dining table for up to 6 people, sofa, 2 armchairs, large coffee table, tv, CD and vinyl players, plenty of cds and vinyls, books, hard wooden floor. There is unlimited high speed internet access everywhere in the apartment.
The main bedroom is very spacious (20 square meters) with 2 windows. This is our bedroom, so there is a double bed. But we can add an air mattress for 1 person easily.
There is a small bedroom with a window where our baby sleeps at the moment, where we will put an airmattress for 1 person. If you need a baby bed, just tell us and we will leave ours in the bedroom you want.
The bathroom is nicely decorated with a bathtub on feet, hang toilets, vintage mirror.
We provide bed linens, pillows, blankets, and towels if necessary.
We can also lend you baby stuff such as a high chair, a deck chair for babies up to 9 months, a playground, a small bathtub, toys, and books in French (a few are in English).
The nearest tube station is "Grands Boulevards" (200 meters from the flat) on lines 8 and 9. Within walking distance, you will find the following tube stations : "Le Pelletier" (400 meters from the flat) on Line 7, "Bourse" (500 meters from the flat) on Line 3, "Notre Dame de Lorette" (600 meters from the flat) on Line 12. As well as many bus lines. With these transportation, you'll be in less than 10 minutes to Les Halles, Beaubourg, Sacré Coeur, The Latin Quarter, and many other tourist places.
The area we live in is a Parisians' favourite : friendly, with many restaurants and cafés. But also plenty of shops and stores such as bakery, butchery, cheese shop, flower shop, costume shops, and supermarkets. In less than 2 minutes walking, you will be in Rue Cadet, a charming pedestrial street with more than all you need.
