Our 3 bedroom holiday bungalow has a unique 'drying room' in the garden with a separate shower and loo, for rinsing off and warming up after the beach/hikes. The place accommodate 6-8 adults very comfortably, 7 minutes from Trevone beach and the South West Coastal Path, hidden away in a quiet road with its own parking. Enjoy views of the hillside farm, and magnificent stars on a clear night. It's a simple comfy place, and people report huge satisfaction with their stays here.

Trevone is a proper village by the sea. It has a super farm shop, a useful surf shop, a pub with fabulous sunset views and an active church and Village Hall. It is busy in summer and quiet the rest of the time - very peaceful and restorative. It is close to the Coastal Path, the Saint's Way and loads of great beaches as well as a golf course at Trevose.
It has marvellous walks and views. It is close to Padstow with its fishing port and array of good restaurants. All in all, a great choice of location.
Buses from Padstow. Nearest train is Bodmin Parkway, airport is Newquay.
Cleaning fee is charged per visit to provide beds freshly made up and towels, and to ensure a high standard is maintained.
Wheelchair users need to bring a ramp to get into the house - then it is all on the flat and quite accessible. The attic space is off limits but everything else is available for our guests' use. We ask that you replace anything which you damage so that it will be available for the next guests. thankyou!
Sometimes, I will meet my guests at the property. Sometimes our co-host, Liz Longley, manages any interactions. While there are guests, I will not be resident at the property. People usually find their way around with ease and settle in immediately - often sending an appreciative text!
Our 'cleaning fee' covers setting up the house for your stay with high quality bedlinens and towels, as well as cleaning and preparing etc.
One or two window locks are dicky, so relax if you can't close them perfectly. We will sort it out between guests!
We ask you to rinse off at the outside tap before coming back into the house or drying room so as to minimise sand inside. Cornwall has a good recycling scheme, so we appreciate it when our guests use the recycling bags like we do, to minimise landfill waste.
I send detailed instructions to guests a couple of weeks before they are due to arrive. We appreciate people respecting check-in and check-out times and communicating with us if they are running late.
This is our family's home from home, and we appreciate people respecting it as such. Pets by special arrangement only. Smoking 20 metres outside only, with butts discarded carefully and appropriately. Overnight guests limited to 8 people at once, to include the adult who made the booking. We also ask guests to be considerate of our lovely neighbours by keeping quiet outside after 11pm. Other than that, enjoy the place, like everyone else has before you, leave it as requested in the detailed instructions, and write us a note in the visitors' book!
