We offer a peaceful and comfortable 1930's mountain cabin in the heart of the Klamath Mountains. The setting, nestled among large, ancient, fir trees and majestic hardwoods, is a perfect base camp to explore the surrounding mountains and rivers. Local highlights include the Marble Mountain and Siskiyou Wilderness Areas and Wild and Scenic Rivers including Dillon Creek, Salmon River and the Klamath River. The Salmon River Outpost in the town of Somes Bar offers food, beverages and more.
We really enjoy the natural peace and serenity of this place and so loud noises, while tolerable for certain gatherings and occasions, are generally frowned upon. Just warn us first please; and I'll refrain from running my tractor or chainsaw in the early morning - fair enough?
No smoking is allowed inside the cabin.
Pets are discouraged. No pets allowed inside the cabin unless kenneled. There is a screened front porch which is a good place to keep pets also.
We encourage recycling and composting and provide receptacles for each.
Most important rule : HAVE FUN!
