This one bedroom, one bathroom apartment adjoins our home and is located on 15 acres of rolling New Hampshire countryside. The apartment is fully furnished and will sleep 4.
Other than the usual common courtesy of using a space respectfully, it's important to note that we live in the country and, as such, do not have municipal sewers. The house functions on a septic system. It's crucial that guests not pour toxic chemicals (household cleaners, nail polish remover, bleach, etc.) down the drains. We also ask that nothing other than human waste and moderate amounts of toilet paper are used in the bathrooms to avoid clogging the pipes and the system. Septic system repairs are quite costly. We do not allow pets of any kind nor is smoking inside the apartment allowed. You may smoke outdoors, if necessary, away from the building.
We are a couple employed as teachers at the prep school in town. We live in a timber frame home we built with our own two hands on 15 acres in the New Hampshire countryside.
In our spare time we often travel. Recently we walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain, spent several weeks in India, snorkeled and scuba dived in the Caribbean, and we are head to the West Coast and Maui very soon.
