Good morning Rebecca. I just wanted to clarify some things about his review. First of all, the suite that was given to her has just been opened and the photos have not been inserted yet. What I will do as soon as possible. The distance from the airport to my property is 25 km and you have to take two buses, there is no direct line (from airport to train station in Mestre and from here to Oriago with stop which is 100 meters from our home).
However, it is well-known that transport in Venice is fairly expensive compared to other cities in the world (a 75-minute vaporetto ride costs 7.50 euro for non-residents - 1.40 euros for residents, back and forth from Venice all 'Marco Polo airport - 15 km - with bus transfer costs 15 Euro per person). Being unhelpful I think it was your wrong impression. I think I have met all your requests (for example I helped you with the luggage on your arrival, I put a bottle of wine in my fridge cool, I prepared an extra bed at no extra cost because you were forgetting to communicate in the booking that you were two women and you did not sleep in the double bed, the next morning with a mail you asked for me to call a taxi to go to the airport).
Regarding the fact that you have entered your suite in your absence to close the exterior wooden window shutters was made exceptionally and for safety reasons because in the previous nights and in the one you have stayed in our area there have been some strong thunderstorms with wind at 90-100 km / h hail (just go to the internet on 2-3 September). On the same day of your arrival at 1 pm there was a strong hail. In the evening it was fairly clear, but around there were heavy lightning and the wind was rising and I felt prudent to close all the windows of the house. Just a few nights before doing this, the hail had broken window windows with guests waking up to scare. As for the goose feather plaid ... it's normal for some little feather to come out. That plaid was exceptionally made because in the previous two nights the temperature dropped from 25 degrees to 12-15 degrees. Normally we use other types of duvets, but we had not yet taken the time to pick from where they were put last spring. Thank you for having booked from us and confirming what I wrote in my review, but after reading yours this clarification has become necessary to avoid misunderstandings. Best regards. Vittorio
