The large 1830s house inside a village is a fine example of local architecture with wide views of the Gulf of Argos. The beach at 2km, the 220m2 house has a large, cool, vaulted room, a nice garden, and modern amenities to accommodate 5 guests.
This is not a guesthouse, it is our family home. We have lived in it for years. The village is not touristic, the close-by square is very lively on summer nights, with cafes and simple restaurants. A true introduction into Greek village life!
You will have access to all facilities that are in the house, and the large walled garden with its shaded terrace.
If we are not there ourselves we will make sure that a responsible contact person is there for help and advice (normally our neighbors).
The house stems from the time that there were pirates in the Bay. It could be barricaded and still has a loop hole next to the entrance to shoot attackers.
We expect that guest will be careful with our furniture and other house items, and will respect the tortoises in the garden (feeding encouraged!). No smoking inside please.
