This Victorian home was built in 2008 on an independent 2 ac. land in Wake Forest growing upscale area. It is a 2 stry home w/ 4 bedrms, 4.5 baths, 4 car garage, 2 story rotunda and family room, covered deck and private backyard. It has 5,300+ sq ft.
Villa Banika is a custom built Victorian farm home. It perfectly expresses a luxurious, yet casual lifestyle. The sculptural facade and expansive verandas create an image of comfort and warm welcome. A dramatic 80-foot view axis through the rotunda to the family room fireplace greets you on entry. The convenient circular floor plan provides easy access to the den and formal living room, while connecting the kitchen and formal dining via the butler’s pantry. The covered outdoor dining and BBQ porch connect the family living areas to the outdoors. The rotundas circular stair leads to the spacious master suite retreat. A guest suite, two other suites sharing the turret and a large media room with popcorn kitchen complete the upper floor. Villa Banika's traditional beauty highlights a floor plan designed for flexible family living, winning Best of Show honors at the 2003 Seattle Street of Dreams (17 out of 22 awards) and a 2004 Best of American Living (BALA) award.
What makes this home unique from any Airbnb properties is not just it's design but most specially the ability to stay in the home in complete privacy (with owner not present in the premises), being able to treat it like your own, making you feel at home!
Guests will have access to all except the big master closet, the office and the detached garage. You can only use the two car garage for now of the 4 car attached garage as the pool table is occupying the other two.
You will be shown around the house and given the key. I will be accessible via phone if you need anything. The only time you would see me is when you are being welcomed to your home! :)
The Camia Room (master) has a king size bed. Kalachuchi Room has a full size and may fit only one person, the other two Sampaguita and Ylangylang both have queen size beds. The Gumamela Room (bonus) has a queen pull out sofa which could sleep two, a chaise and another section of the sofa which could fit two more. I also have a twin size mattress and a queen mattress in storage that you could put on the bonus room floor, turret or master sitting area, if you have independent people who don't want to share beds.
I've named the rooms for fun instead of using numbers. These names are flowers that are native in my hometown, Guiuan Philippines.
Camia is a tropical flower found in the property that brings fragrant white flowers in the summer until fall. Kalachuchi is the yellow flowers that is popularly used in Hawaii as lei's. Sampaguita is the Philippine national flower which smells good. Ylangylang is another flower I love which smells good but is not commonly found. Gumamela doesn't have a strong scent but so beautiful to look at. We call it here as hibiscus. :)
The home is on a well and septic so it has restrictions on the number of people that could occupy the home. Parties are not allowed without the host consent. There will be extra charges.
Please do not flush baby wipes as they will ruin the septic system.
No pets allowed unless it's a seeing/hearing dog.
No smoking inside allowed.
Ladies make sure that the heels are in good shape so as not to ding the floors.
City ordinance is no outside noise beyond 11PM. Must be strictly observed as our neighbors would mind. :)
