A tranquil, secluded &romantic setting situated in Rendelsham between Beachport&Millicent.A central location from which to enjoy the many delights of THE LImestone Coast.A great stop over between Adelaide to Melbourne .
My husband and I last visited Beachport in the summer and had a great time so we thought we'd see what it was like in the winter. We decided to stay out of Beachport in a little cottage in Rendelsham to get a taste of the country and beach winter. Leanne's little hobby farm is gorgeous and the cottage is warm and comfortable. Five minutes drive to South End and ten to the gorgeous Beachport. We had the best of all worlds! Communication with Leanne was immediately and best of all dogs are welcome! Our Akita, Holly loved every minute just as we did!! A stunning part of the world!
Good communication from the host, isolated spot so need to take all provisions with you if self catering. Comfy bed. Appreciated the Anzac cookies left for us but think the champers and handmade chocolates from lots of previous reviews may be a thing of the past. ( to be fair I should have asked the host directly about this, as it was a birthday celebration booking, which I pointed out, so my fault for assuming and there was a bottle of NZ white in the fridge) Overall quaint enough but I do question value for money compared to all the other Airbnb we have used in the last two and a half months of travelling.
When you get out of the car and stand in front of cottage the view is tranquil. Step inside and it's breathtakingly oldie world. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay 100% comfortable. The cow's and a horse came up to the fence, we took some lovely photo's. Would love to send my parents there for a visit.
