THE HOUSE: This is a full brick home located on top of the hill in FAIRLIGHT.
It would appeal more to people wanting to have a relaxing place to stay as it offers a peaceful calm environment in a quiet location very close to all the wonderful offerings of this fabulous area. There are also lovely gardens surrounding the whole property for you to enjoy at your leisure.
THE GARDEN: Breathe in the fresh sea breezes straight from the ocean, while sitting on the deck looking out over extensive views from Manly Dam reserve in the west, across Manly Golf Course to Beacon Hill in the north and over to Queenscliff Headland in the east. Or take some quiet time down in the gazebo with a book or a dip in the spa.
MEAL TIME: Local Fairlight shops are a simple walk for a Gourmet Breakfast and Great Coffee at the "BUTCHER'S CAFE" or other eateries close by. Or simply organise your own breakfast on the deck or in the Gazebo to start your day.
A short walk to local restaurants in Balgowlah or down to Manly to enjoy a relaxing evening meal. There is also a BBQ on the deck if needed, and a full kitchen available.

There are also some Silver Perch in the Aquaponics pond and an Australian Native Bee Hive and a European Honey Bee Hive... this is a non-chemical eco-friendly garden.
WALKING IS THE BEST WAY: Manly is a small area in total so it is very easy to get around by just simply heading out the front door on foot.
FREE COMMUNITY BUS: There are 3 free community buses circulating the area that run approx every half hour during the day. There is one that stops 3 houses up from here that will go to the ferry, the Swim Centre and also to Balgowlah shops where Coles supermarket is located in the Stockland Mall. The main interchange for all three buses is at Balgowlah Shops, Condamine Street.
BUSES: M-F peak hour buses to the City; Mosman; North Sydney; Chatswood; Ryde are 2 mins walk; or 5 mins walk on weekends to connect to the Balgowlah Shops bus stops. The other main local buses go up the peninsula to Palm Beach; Mosman; North Sydney; Chatswood and the Quarantine Station at North Head.
The 135 Bus goes directly past 'Fairlight Escape'. It runs during the day from the Quarantine Station at North Head via Manly Wharf and Balgowlah Shops to Warringah Mall.
FERRIES: 5-7 mins walk down the hill to the wharf for ferries to the city (Circular Quay or over to Darling Harbour) or over to the Eastern Suburbs via Watsons Bay.
Guests are welcome to share all the house and garden areas except owners private quarters/office area, which have not been photographed.
I work from home in my own separate quarters so I am more than likely available if guests need any assistance with anything, otherwise just come and relax in this lovely home on the hill and spend quality time with your family and friends.
All smoking outside please.
