Every square inch of this awesome 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo has been newly remodeled! Location - The condo is no more than 40 steps away from the gondola and central to everything. Amazing - all the amenities you could ever need! A/C, WIFI, Flat Screen TV's, Steam Shower, Whirlpool Tub, etc.
What makes a perfect vacation rental? Is it worn out mattresses that a person just had around? No. Is it old furnishings the person had left over and decided to use? No. Is it a place that smells old or has popcorn ceilings? No. No. No. We have stayed in many vacation rentals we have not liked. Plus, we are picky and have strong opinions about what makes a perfect vacation rental. When designing the interior of our condo, we took our past experiences and preferences to design what we feel is the perfect vacation rental. Here is some of what you will find.
Location, Location, Location – You have heard this before about real estate but with a place you are staying location is a must. We are about 50 steps away from the gondola and central to everything. You simply cannot have a better location.
Beds and Bedding – You want to be comfortable. That is why we have brand new mattresses, plush Company Store and Ralph Lauren bedding on our beds.
High Speed Internet – Surf at high speeds with our Time Warner Broadband Internet available via our WiFi network.
Two Full-Size Couches and a Comfy Chair – This way, everybody in the den can be comfortable. It is in a U shape configuration so everyone can relax, socialize or watch our giant TV.
King Size Beds – Two to be exact (one in each of our two bedrooms) or if you prefer one king in the master and the guest can be converted to two twins each with their own nightstand. You see, Jennifer and I although we love each other like our space and a queen matress is just not good enough. So, we like a king. We also each like to have a nightstand and it is a pet peeve of ours when one of us does not have one. So, no matter which configuration you choose, each person will have a nightstand.
50″ LG Flat Panel TV’s – No one-eye televisions here. Don’t you just hate when you stay at a vacation rental and it has old style televisions or ones that are so small you cannot see them from the bed? Or, televisions positioned in such a way that you have to bend your neck like a contortionist to watch your favorite program? We do. That is why we put large new 50″ TV’s in every room (not one, not two, but three – the den, the guest room and the master room). And best of all, they are positioned with the viewer in mind so you don’t have to bend your neck or do handstands in order to watch the 100+ channels that Time Warner Cable provides.
Full Size Washer and Dryer – Brand new LG full size front load washer and dryer to wash all your clothes. We had to really work to fit it in but it is worth it. We are pleased and we know you will be to not having to spend all your vacation time waiting for your clothes to dry and doing multiple loads. Believe us – we have been there and you don’t want to be.
Steam Shower – Our master bedroom has a steam shower. Why? Jennifer does not use a steam shower like I do but I like it to relax and I also like to sit in it to defend against the harsh mountain dryness that Telluride seems to bring.
Humidifiers – If your nose dries out the minute you hit town like ours does, these are for you.
Kitchen – A fully functional kitchen with GE Profile stainless appliances (full size refrigerator, oven, gas cooktop, dishwasher microwave, under the counter icemaker that makes that ‘special’ ice for your drinks), granite countertops, cupboards full of dishes and glassware. This way, instead of paying through the nose for dinners out at restaurants you can pay through the nose for groceries and cook it yourself.
Spacious Eating Area – Dining room table that seats 6 in case you meet two friends on the gondola.
Whirlpool and Hot Tubs – The Ore Station has a hot tub outside for 8 for your enjoyment. But, if you prefer to Apres Ski by yourself, then our condo/guest bathroom also has a whirlpool tub to splash around in.
Mud Room – An entry mud area and cubbies so you can take off and put on your jackets and ski boots with ease.
Elevator – The Ore Station has an elevator in case you do not want to walk on the brand new steps.
Top Floor Unit – This way, you will not have to listen to sumo wrestling going on above when you are trying to sleep.
Covered Parking Space – You’re staying in a nice place. Shouldn’t your car have a nice place too? You will have a dedicated parking space in the building garage.
Great Views – Step off onto the balcony and have a look around.
Additional Items – Hardwood floors, Telluride artwork, ceiling fans in bedrooms, vintage posters, high quality rugs and other furnishings, luggage racks for your luggage, Ipod dock clock radio and speaker unit, sprayer sink in kitchen.
Grocery Delivery Available – Want your condo stocked with groceries for your arrival. For an additional charge we can arrange grocery delivery.
Extra Housecleaning – Would you like to have extra house-cleaning during your stay? Just ask. We can arrange it for a nominal charge.
Your Very Own Bar Downstairs - Not really, but it might as well be. It is right next door downstairs with our friends at the Hotel Columbia. You cannot ask for a shorter walk home after your cocktails.
Activities In or Around Telluride
Cross Country Skiing
Guests will have access to 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, the master is a king and the guest bedroom can be a king bed, or 2 xl twin beds. Guests will have access to 3 flat screen 50" TVs, high speed internet, DVD player, and cable. A full kitchen with oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, ice maker, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, and dining area are provided. There is a small ipod docking station available as well as covered parking. There is a full washer and dryer n the unit and a community hot tub. Towels and Linens are also provided. Ask about grocery delivery!
Owners will not be present during your stay.

No pets and a smoke free condo. Strict 4 person maximum occupancy. By making reservation you agree to sign and be bound by the terms of our rental agreement below (view by clicking 'more' below) -
THIS AGREEMENT, executed electronically, is between the owners of Ore Station Penthouse by the Gondola (“Landlord”) and guest making the reservation ("Tenant”) for the short term lease (“Lease”) of the real property located at Ore Station Lodge-Unit 4, 260 S. Aspen Street, Telluride, Colorado 81435 (“Unit”). The Unit is a 2 bedroom + 2 Bath, fully furnished Condominium in the Ore Station Lodge complex (together, the “Premises”).
The Unit shall only be occupied as an immediate domicile for the term commencing during the rental period specified in the reservation (“Rental Period”).
Tenant shall pay Landlord a Rental Fee which is due at time of booking.
In addition to the Total Rental Fee, Tenant shall pay Landlord a mandatory NON-REFUNDABLE cleaning fee (“Cleaning Fee”) to cover cleaning after Tenant’s departure.
Although no Security Deposit it taken, if there are damages to the Premises thereby sustained, including but not limited to, damages to walls, doors, closets, windows, furniture, appliances, carpet, pictures and failure to leave the Premises in a clean and sanitary condition, Tenant will be responsible for paying. For any damage to the Unit or excessive cleaning, Tenant agrees to pay Landlord the amount due within ten (10) days of written notice from Landlord to Tenant. Any amount of charged by Landlord shall be in conformance with the provisions of this Lease and Colorado law.
Tenant agrees to pay for and be billed post stay by Landlord for any Pay Per View or movie rental charges Tenant may rent or purchase during the Rental Period.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIME
Check-in time is after 4:00 pm day of arrival. Check-out time is by 10:00 am day of departure.
1. Maximum occupancy (adults and children) of the unit is 4. Tenant shall forfeit remainder of stay and full rental amount if it is discovered that the maximum occupancy is being exceeded.
2.Tenant shall be responsible financially to make any and all repairs to the Unit, plumbing fixtures, wiring, furnishings, fixtures, appliances, etc., when the damage was caused by the fault or negligence of Tenant or Tenant’s guests or invitees.
3.Tenant shall at the end of the Rental Period surrender the Unit to Landlord, without demand, in as good order and condition as when entered upon.
4.Any loss or damage within the Unit or the contents therein shall be deducted from the Security Deposit or be assessed to the Tenant.
5.Tenant shall permit the Landlord or Landlord’s agent, at any reasonable time to enter said Premises or any part thereof for purpose of making repairs thereto.
6.There is no smoking or pets allowed in the condominium or in or on the Premises. Tenant shall not smoke, or allow smoking, in or around the unit. Landlord will retain the security deposit and assess a $1000 fee for violations of this provision.
7. To adhere to all regulations set forth by the regulatory parties for the condominium complex in which the Unit is located.
8.Tenant shall indemnify, and hold Landlord, its agents or employees harmless from any and all claims arising from Tenant’s use of the Premises or from the conduct of any activity, or things which may be permitted or suffered by Tenant in or about the Premises and shall further indemnify, defend and hold Landlord, her servants, agents or employees harmless from and against any and all demands, claims or suits arising from any breach or default in the performance of any obligation on Tenant’s part to be performed under the provisions of this Lease or arising from any negligence of Tenant or Tenant’s guests or other occupants of the Premises and pay all costs, attorney’s fees, expenses and liabilities incurred in the defense of any such demands, claims, suits or any action or proceeding brought thereon.
9.Landlord, its agents or employees shall not be liable to Tenant, Tenant’s guests or other occupants of the Premises for any damages, injuries, or losses to persons or property caused by fire, flood, water leaks, ice, snow, hail, winds, explosion, smoke, interruption of utilities, theft, burglary, robbery, assault, vandalism, other persons, condition of the Premises, latent defects in the Premises or other occurrences or casualty losses unless such damage, loss or injury is caused by the gross negligence of the Landlord, her servants, agents or employees. Tenant hereby assumes all risk of damage to Premises or injury to persons in or about the Premises from any cause, and Tenant hereby waives all claims in respect thereof against Landlord, its agents or employees, except when said damage is caused by Landlord’s gross negligence. Landlord strongly recommends that Tenant secure its own insurance coverage for protection against such liabilities and losses.
10.This Lease constitutes the entire agreement between the parties, and any prior understanding or representation of any kind preceding the date of this Lease shall not be binding on any party except to the extent incorporated in this Lease.
11.Any modification of the Lease or additional obligations assumed by any party in connection with this Lease shall be binding only if in writing signed by all parties hereto.
12.If legal proceedings are brought by either party which involve this Lease, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover its costs and reasonable attorney’s fees incurred in connection with any such proceedings.
13.Tenant agrees to comply with all rules and regulations at Ore Station Lodge Condominium, including but not limited to, all posted rules regarding the use of the Ore Station Lodge hot tub.
