This new addition to our home is just 5 minutes’ walk from the River and the shops and 10 min from hospital. You will have sole use of this light and airy space which has your own private entrance, and is locked off from the rest of our home. It has an ensuite bathroom, comfortable queen bed, table and chairs, wifi, TV with chromecast and courtyard.
The kitchenette has a bar fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave, but has no cooking facilities. Beverages and breakfast cereal are supplied.

The nearby lookout tower will give views over Berri and to the River. We're 3 minutes from the closest takeaway/dine-in restaurant, and 2 minutes from the town pool. The supermarket is a 9 minute walk. 15 minute walk to an amazing mini-golf course. Hop in the car to visit the Riverland Wine Centre, Lake Bonney, Murray River National Park, Wilkadene Woolshed Brewery, or 23rd Street Distillery.

Hi. I’m Karen and I host along with my husband Kym. We’ve both grown up in the Riverland, and have been involved in tourism here for the last 10 years with our business offering kayak hire and tours. I have been primary teaching on and off for many years, now only managing to fit in a bit of relief teaching.
I enjoy growing and preserving food, reading, kayaking, my family and grandchildren, learning ways to improve our business marketing, (and I spend too much time on social media).
I’ve been lucky to holiday in Europe, Indonesia, Samoa and New Zealand, and am looking forward to more travel when Covid is behind us.
Some great experiences as Airbnb guests inspired us to start hosting. We’re proud of our guest suite, and aim to always present it at its best, being honest about what we offer, and staying true to our principles of trying to live in an environmentally friendly manner.
