Our stunning and characterful restored stone hideaway offers a delightful split level apartment with modern interior and architectural design elements. The cosy apartment has its own entrance and private terrace to enjoy the afternoon and setting sun. There is a small, well furnished kitchette with two electric hobs and a small oven, fridge freezer and microwave. Use of the pool is included. Popular with walkers, bikers and nature lovers.
This delightful split-level apartment was originally the chestnut drying house. It has a private entrance via the courtyard and its own private terrace. Use of our private family to pool is included when available - usually during Summer months, although sometime due to maintenance use will not be possible. For larger groups there are an additional two double bedrooms in the main house that are available. Alternatively a fold-out bed can be provided for the apartment if there are only 3 guests
Guests are welcome to use the BBQ terrace and courtyard. They are also welcome to use the private family pool, which is on one of the lower terracea down the hillside. The walk up is not suitable for those who have difficulty walking. It is shaded by beautiful woodland and there is a hammock and seats in the shade to relax and read.
We are usually there to meet and greet guests and to provide advice and tips on how to make the most of your stay in this unspoilt part of Tuscany.
Breakfast is available on request (for an additional charge) and cookery sessions and Italian lessons can also be arranged. Gong meditation sessions are also offered.
The house is surrounded by mountains and woodland and is an original stone built property. There are neighbouring dogs and chickens, so the private garden gate and gate to the pool must be closed at all times.
Please smoke outdoors only.
Please let us know if we can help in any way during your stay or if there is something that requires attention.
Please advise of any damages incurred during your stay.
Please ensure all gates are closed to stop dogs entering the gardens or pool area.
I am qualified naturopathic nutritionist with a passion for health and real food. I am married with two children. I enjoy speaking Italian and enjoying the culture, creating healthy food for my friends and family, exploring meditation techniques and learning from life. Destinations I have been blown away by include Australia and Souh Africa.
I love to welcome people from all over the world and share the delights of the simple, clean tastes of the local food of Lunigiana and Italy. I offer cookery sessions to guests who are interested, plus recommendations of places to go to get the best quality food around including fresh ricotta (if you've never tried it, you've never lived), grass-fed meats, pasteurised and unpasteurised cheeses and the most fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables.
