Whether you're a musician, or you just crave privacy, you'll love this suite! 2 miles north of downtown Cville, walk to bus stop. Free parking, private entry. Private bath with shower. Access to shared screened porch. Great alternative to hotels!
Fridays after 6 pm, Saturdays more flexible (after 1 pm).
No smoking inside the studio. (E-cigs/vaping inside is okay, though.) You can, however, smoke outside on the screened porch.
No pets allowed.
If you like to play the piano, you are welcome to play it between 8 am and 10 pm. No banging or messing around on it, please. (Our walls are not entirely sound proof!) If you know how to play, though, we will enjoy hearing your music. :)
Keep in mind that the suite doubles as a piano studio for kids, so please be kind to the space.
I am a personal stylist, and my husband Evan is a musician and piano teacher. We both love running our own businesses and enjoying flexible lives.
We recently purchased our first home and added an extra suite to the back of the house for Evan to teach lessons in during the week, with our weekend plan to be using the new space to rent to folks coming into town who desire a cozy, private space to stay.
As far as us traveling, we do love to see faraway places. We stayed in Paris for two weeks for our honeymoon, in a friend's apartment in the 8th. It was so much better for us than staying in a hotel. We value having a place to stay that's more like a home, so the apartment worked out well for us. For future travel, I imagine us pursuing a similar plan.
A few things I hold dear to me.
*Hubs, of course.
*Our home. I take a lot of pride in what we've done with it.
*Our cat, Pippi. She is sassy - but a sweetie!
*My yoga/meditation routine. It keeps me healthy, grounded, and connected.
*Quality clothing. As a stylist, it's an absolute must.
*Dark chocolate. So obsessed.
