I'm truly sorry that Lola wasn't entirely satisfied but before confirming her booking she had lots of questions which I was happy to answer. As with all my guests I am always welcoming and friendly but unfortunately not all guests are responsive in which case its difficult having any positive rapport with them!
I believe my apartment is ideally situated within easy access to shops, restaurants, The Waterfront as well as the city. Its opposite the promenade which is an added bonus for guests who appreciate walking or cycling along the seaside or going to the beach.
Yes on occasion I happened to be in the kitchen at the same time as the guest and on her first day I probably did try to assist her, but I was merely showing her where everything was and explaining a few things!
Cape Town has been experiencing a severe drought for a quite some time and everyone has been asked to reduce their water consumption. Unfortunately one of the sacrifices that we are having to make, is to try limit our toilet flushing. In an effort to save water I try to use recycled shower water for that purpose and to save my guests from the task, I offer to attend to it myself.
As far as the internet is concerned I explained to the guest that due to the fact that I don't have uncapped data, I was happy to give her 30 minutes access in the morning and 30 minutes in the evening which she agreed to. In reality I actually allowed her access for far longer but it seems that this was not appreciated. Of course if she would have just been a bit more communicative, I would have been more than willing to accommodate her needs.
Once again I offer my apologies and will endeavour to improve in the future!
