A quiet and spacious, one bedroom basement suit with separate entrance located on the shore of Swan Lake, 5km from downtown Vernon and 29km from Silverstar Mountain.
No smoking in the house.
It was the perfect spot for me and my boyfriend. We did have beautiful views towards the lake, we were enchanted by the water feature and the richness of the garden. They do take the time to maintain the space green and beautiful. The suite was very clean, spacious, cool in this summer days, comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed every bit of it, and we did find some hooks for our hammock despite the comfy chairs on the porch. We will not miss the place next time when we are passing through Vernon. Thank you for having us, Jo-Ellen and Wayne!
We absolutely enjoyed our stay and our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. The apartment was clean and cozy and kitchen & bath was fully stocked with all necessities you could need. It felt like staying a cottage at the lake! Jo Ellen and Wayne are very nice and welcoming, they just make you feel like you are at home. We highly recommend staying here and we really hope to come back again one day!
We were very happy during our 1 week stay in that place. Jo - Ellen and Wayne are very affable and polite. The basement was very clean bright and spacious. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances. Stores and beaches are in good proximity. For those who have children, it is a good place to stay for it has a large backyard where your family may play different games such as water guns, frisbee, badminton, tug of war to name a few; or your children may go and explore the far away corners of the yard by themselves (boat house, turtles in the lake etc). You also have a beach of your own in that place, and your may go kayaking or swimming.
If you are looking for a beautiful home right on the water then this is the place for you. Complete kitchen with everything you can think of, large living room and dining room, a soaker tub and a bedroom that everyone would love. Loved canoeing in the morning and seeing the baby ducks out for a swim.
