We stayed in Luisa's home for 6 nights. We never actually met Luisa, her neighbour greeted us and gave us the key. The flat has great views, as it is on the 23rd floor. It took longer than expected to get where we wanted, we would take a bus to clapham junction, then an overground to the nearest tube station, then generally one or more tubes to get to where we needed to go. The good thing is the transport is easy and there's never a long wait for a train. The couch is very comfortable, and the bed is too, very very soft. The kitchen isn't huge, but has everything we needed (except a toaster), and was perfect for our needs of cooking basic meals and washing clothes. The biggest problem we had was the shower, most of the time it would have been more effective to bathe from the bathroom sink. The water pressure was pretty bad, and the temperature was inpossible. We had one shower each every day, and of all those the longest I was able to spend directly under the water was about 40 seconds, once. My mum had about a minute, once. The rest of the time the water was either only burning hot or icy cold, and we could only bear to touch the water as it changed from hot to cold, which took a few seconds. There was a lovely garden, a playground across the road and a supermarket nearby. There was also a friendly community feel to the building, almost everybody we saw on the way in and out would smile and say hello, and several helped us work out the security gates in our first few days, so we felt very safe.
Overall the flat was good and suited our needs, but had a few let downs and we wouldn't stay there again.
