From the minute you're driving up the coral driveway, to stepping into this cosy open-plan home, you know you're on holiday.
The appealing Lounge/Dining/Kitchen, with guest toilet, and the wooden open stairway that leads to 2 double air-conditioned bedrooms, and the bathroom, will light up your face with a feeling of pleasure and you'll think "oh yesss, I'm on holiday".
And then, you step outside, and get absorbed in the view; the amazing turquoise blue of the Indian Ocean, the boats sailing by the reef, the tranquil Mountain of Le Morne as the backdrop; Relaxation at its best!
Time to sip a beer, or a cup of tea, and take in the view whilst planning your exploration of our lovely country.
The full duplex/apartment and gardens are for your sole use.
The Swimming Pool is shared between 4 apartments.
The Parking Area is shared between 8 apartments, one parking bay per Apt; Additional cars and visitors to please park on the street.
This is a self catering accommodation.
I will usually be there to meet and greet you upon the arrival and departure of your stay with us. Or you can Self-check-in/out if it is more convenient. I am always available by mobile phone to assist you with any questions, and it's not a problem should you need me to drop by.
Not suitable for infants/toddlers due to the open stairs and high walls. Please review photos.
However, will be accepted at parents own risk.
We have had many happy children enjoy our space :-) Ages 9 months, and 2 to 7 years.
A reminder that this is a residential area, and although the complex is quieter than most, as it is set up off the road, you may experience distance noise from dogs and hens. It all adds to the Mauritius experience.
Respect thy neighbour goes a long way.
Check-in is after 13h00; Check-out is before 10h00
However, I am flexible with this if I have no back-to-back bookings.
Please advise me of your arrival and departure flight details so that I can review accordingly.
Cleaning: my space is clean and tidy, please leave it the way you found it.
Most especially the toilets and kitchen! Hate cleaning? Then leave MUR1,000 on the table and I will source a cleaner (but please still make sure the toilets are okay).
Garbage/Rubbish disposal: Place your sealed black garbage bags in the right-hand store room under the kitchen, in the parking lot, thank you. (Mauritius does not recycle at place of residence).
Smoking: Outside only, more time for you to take in the splendid view! Ashtrays are stored under the sink.
Breakages: accidents do happen, please be honest and report and pay for any breakages/damage so that the next guest can enjoy my space also.
Linen: please respect that linen is expensive. The only thing that should be on the bed is your body!
Ladies to kindly NOT remove your makeup with the towels!
Children: sorry little ones but no play dough, paint or crayons. Let me know your age and I will happily provide some toys for you.
Air conditioning: please turn it off when you have the window open or are not occupying the room. Electricity is expensive and it overworks the a/c causing it to freeze up and drip water :(
Parking: there is one parking bay per apartment; please keep within the ground markings. Additional cars and visitors to park in the street.
Swimming Pool: Water is scarce. Please refrain from jumping/dive bombs that will cause the water to leave the pool.
All of the units are privately owned. The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises. The homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest.
