Gorgeous, spacious place (1100 sq ft). Ample closets; cook's kitchen; walking distance to Brooklyn Museum and Prospect Park; supermarket, organic wifi cafe, and yoga all a block away. Added a loveseat to bedroom, and have washer-dryer in apartment, v unusual. Lots of restaurants/bars near. (Note: no dogs allowed by landlord.)
It's got great bones, and all new fixtures. Prewar building... this apartment was gut-renovated summer 2014.
HBO and all other cable; wifi; laundry in basement; feel free to use my collection of global spices and cook.
Really depends. I had one person stay who turned out to be a friend of a friend so we just ended up hanging out. I've had other people who were home late after a long day and we didn't socialize at all. I work a lot but also enjoy going out to events when I can.
I go to bed anytime between 10pm and 1am. So if you're up later than me, just be considerate with sound.
--Just be a mature person in your attitude.
--No smoking in the apartment, period. I love dogs, but the apartment doesn't allow them.
--The two bedrooms are next to each other -- although both are quite large, so good to keep in mind for noise purposes. Also there is one bathroom so basic shower courtesy -- like asking if anyone minds if you do the looong shower (if that's your thing) is great.
