I am a conservationist and former sea turtle biologist who decided to do what I had always wanted to do - open up a restaurant. I have always loved food, and having traveled quite a lot internationally, I have been able to collect many interesting recipes from around the world. I am now the owner of Café Caburé, one of the best restaurants in Monteverde. We also run a chocolate shop that makes bars and truffles.
