This airy, bright studio apartment is a short drive to the University of Massachusetts, Hampshire College, Amherst College, and Mt. Holyoke College in South Hadley and Smith College in Northampton. We are in the Pioneer Valley, a treasure trove of amazing views, forests and waterways as well as gourmet dining and music venues. We are about 2 miles to the Eric Carle Museum, the Yiddish Book Center, Emily Dickinson Museum, art museums and galleries as well as hiking trails.
This unit is a lovely newly renovated space with tiled bathroom, its own stone tile floor entrance, and wood laminate floor. There is a fully equipped modern kitchen and living space. The view is to the west affording wonderful sunsets almost every night. There are three hiking trails that cross Middle Street. Downtown Amherst is a 10 minute drive.
Travelers have use of the apartment and backyard, about a half acre bordering the conservation land and there is a fire pit which can be used. There are two parking spaces for guests.
We live in the upstairs unit and are available as needed.
The apartment has an area outside that is furnished with outdoor chairs and a wrought iron table with a glass top.
