Xenia is a beautiful property with horses and a pot belly pig mulling about. Saria was accommodating when we arrived 2 hours early for our reservation and allowed us to make ourselves at home. We were prepared to just drop our bags so it was nice to be able to refrigerate our food and wine and take off to the beach. We were disappointed with the the cabin as it was not an “entire home” as listed on air bnb but rather an unclean room with a bed and a small bathroom. The main house with the communal kitchen was pretty much touching the cabin which left a little to be desired privacy wise. When we returned to make dinner there were other guests in the kitchen as well as Saria who seemed to be friends with each other. We politely worked around them though felt we were intruding on their space, especially when we were eating on the patio and Saria reached out and closed the door stating “Nothing personal". After dinner we went back to our cabin and noticed a “house rules” notice. Though no mention of non smoking on the Air bnb listing the house rules had an advisory: smoking in designated area, we asked Saria where that area might be and she said no where on the property at which point her other guest chimed in “You can go back to town and smoke at the pub.” (an hours walk away) Saria said nothing to counter this. After confronting her finally Saria reluctantly conceited and showed us a spot in the middle of the parking lot where we could have a smoke, then later enlisted me to help set up her air bnb account to non smoking. For $150 dollars a night between the incorrect listing as an entire house, the attitude and unwelcome vibes and general uncleanliness of the room this is not a worth while visit.
