Aunt May’s is a tranquil, secluded, freshly renovated country cottage. Located on a 40-acre working cattle farm in the rolling hills of rural Missouri, this cozy retreat accommodates up to 6 guests.
The farm has been in our family since 1865, and we are delighted to share this special place with guests. Our Great Grandma, affectionately known as Aunt May, was born and lived most of her 95 years here. From shortly after the Spanish American War until 1969 she hosted a steady stream of visitors from all over the country. Some original buildings still stand, but the “new” house, built in 1967, has been extensively renovated inside and out with your comfort in mind. The house is equipped with all the conveniences you’d expect, yet we’ve maintained the relaxed country cottage ambiance that has greeted traveling family and friends for five generations.

No smoking in the house, no pets, have fun.
My wife Kate and I have operated Aunt May's Farm Guesthouse since 2003. Kate is the town librarian, and I am a partner in the local distillery. Life is good, and we enjoy hosting guests seeking adventure on the roads less traveled.
